Overall, my stay was good as I knew what to expect after staying in other APA hotels. Very small rooms, a small deep tub, and small bathroom is what is to be expected. But, it works if you are simple, solo traveler.
However, compared to some of the other APA Hotels. This hotel did not pay as much attention to cleanliness detail (removing dust from desk and furniture, ensuring sheets and pillows are stainless), and had less amenities. There also is only one elevator for the entire hotel, which was not the case in other APA hotels. So, typically you will always be waiting to catch the elevator up and down.
If you stay here, be sure to check out the Indian restaurant downstairs as it is pretty good and also open 24/7 which is convenient. The restaurant serve drinks as well, and will deliver to room if requested. The area surrounding the hotel, Shinjuku, can be a bit seedy and vibrant at night, so that is something to be aware of. The windows though, are pretty good at blocking out the noise of the streets.
