We had such a great experience at Hotel Zephyr! The room was clean, and the front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. The courtyard with games and fire pits was perfect for relaxing in the evening—it really added something special to our trip. The indoor game room was a huge bonus, especially for the kids after a long day of walking and sightseeing. Great location, fun vibe, and definitely a place we’d stay at again!

They hotel is great. Located near most of the major attractions and to transportation. The room with balcony and view is definitely a great choice. An IHOP on the same street is very convenient. They only thing that I didn't like was that I arrived early, the room was ready, But they told me that if I wanted to get my room at that moment I had to pay a $75.00 USD Fee. Bad customer service. Front desk staff is not very friendly.

Great hotel

This is such a beautiful place. Walking distance to the warf, restaurants and Alcatraz. A lot to do around there within walking distance. Very windy by the bay so bring a jacket. Hotel is amazing with different seating places, game room and even s’mores to make by the 3 fire pits they have. A restaurant is attached to this hotel and has wonderful and friendly staff.

The hotel is ok; it was designed for the "cool factor". The public spaces have a lot of amenities like ping pong table and pool table and other games, which is really nice. But I couldn't find a coffee anywhere in the lobby. They had a Keurig in the room but most hotels have free coffee or a place to buy coffee in or near the lobby. The room was fairly large, the bed was comfortable and the linens were clean. The bathroom had mold and smelled of chlorine; the water in the sink did not get hot (it was tepid at best) and the shower drain was very slow (ankle deep by end of shower but drained before the next one). Parking is $15 per hour or $65 per day, which in this touristy area was probably a fair price for in and out services. I arrived one hour before check-in, and they charged me $25 for an "early check-in". That is frustrating because it's just a money grab. I also found the front desk staff to be indifferent or even cold every interaction. An exception is the cleaning staff who greeted me every time I walked past one of their carts. Overall I would not stay at this hotel again, there are other options that are in better shape and have better "hotel amenities". If you're a family with kids or an influencer who prioritizes taking pics by a smores fire at your hotel, then this place is fine for you though.

$100 in hidden fees. Sorry but cornhole and s’mores aren’t worth $30 a person. It was a pain to park and then get to the lobby. The room was clean and thoughtfully renovated with a nautical theme. Good water pressure in the shower.
