First the good: The staff was very friendly and attentive. The view of the ocean and pier was great. The room was clean and simple. It had a great 'beachy' vibe the fit the venue perfectly. The roof top area was a nice place to relax and have a drink. Plenty of things to do in the area. The not so great: The room was not ready at check in and we had to wait almost an hour. The view of the ocean is obstructed by the bushes growing in front of the hotel. The bottle brush needs to be trimmed level with the railing. There were a lot of ants in the room and on the balcony. The bushes are growing against the hotel and thats why the ants are getting in the rooms. The bushes should be trimmed away from the hotel. The water was shut off briefly, but it was not a big deal. The rooms are missing some basic things you may be used to, microwave, iron, closet, trash can (other than the bathroom), coffee pot (you can get coffee or tea delivered), etc. These are very minor issues and they did not spoil our stay, its still an amazing hotel.

Had a lovely stay with great staff and got a free upgrade without asking for one. Beautiful room and view. The only issue was there was a bit of an ant infestation in the room and certain key. Things were damaged like broken hammock on the balcony, broken bottle cap in the bottle of water in the room so that it was difficult to open. And ripped robe. Outside of these little things it would’ve been perfect.

I was pleasantly surprised by the room. The bed was comfortable and well put together. The decoration in the room was nice. The amenities in the room were great. The room was very cute and peaceful. I loved the hammock and the rooftop area. The views are so pretty of the ocean and the staff was very friendly. It’s a small hotel which made it more personal, there was a little note with my name on it when I arrived to the room. I’d stay here again if I ever go back to Malibu.
