I’ve stayed frequently at the Huntley and have had great experiences. Unfortunately this was not one of them. We picked the Huntley for a good nights sleep after a wonderful concert. The concert was great but the stay not so much. First the power went off as we were watching a movie on TV. No air, no light, nothing for over an hour or so. We decided to make the best of it and go to bed then after we were asleep when the lights came on it took a few tries to turn off the automated lights. Then at 2am someone started trying to kick in a door on our floor, no yelling or screaming just pounding 2 or 3 times then nothing for 15 minutes then again and one more time after that. As I was exhausted it was only the last time I looked out and I assume it was resolved. Not the restful night we were looking for. When we were sleeping in and asked for a late check out we were told it would cost $25 an hour so we just left. Disappointing stay at one of our favorite places.

We were only here for one night, unfortunately. Our son lives nearby and a friend of the family asked us to mind their dog while we they are away. Whenever we visit our son, we stay at the Huntley. The staff is friendly and the rooms are very comfortable.
