Hotels In Singapore

If you love to eat, play and explore, you’ll love Singapore! With exciting theme parks, gorgeous gardens, fancy-pants shopping and yummy food to fill your tum, it’s a superb place to go for a holiday that won’t max out your credit card. Whether it’s a romantic escape or a trip with your BFFs, choose from one of our Singapore hotels and save yourself some serious cash!

Singapore lies just off the tip of the Malaysian peninsula. It’s made up of one big island – Pulua Ujong – and 60 smaller ones. At 710 square kilometres, it’s a tiny country but still very busy with a population of about five million! So where should you begin? Why not start with a ride on the Singapore Flyer? At 165m high, it’s the biggest observation wheel in the world and shows you awe-inspiring views of the city and river.

Sentosa is an island playground just off the city’s coast and is simply buzzing with cool things to do. Take an adrenaline-pumping flying fox ride at Megazip Adventure Park, spot colourful flowers (romantic!) at Sentosa Orchid Gardens and get your camera ready for the Merlion, an eight-and-a-half-metre-high statue of a creature that’s half lion / half fish (looks kind of like your least favourite ex).

There’s heaps of shopping to do here, and often you can find something a little out of the ordinary, in more ways than one. Suntec City Mall is famous for having the Fountain of Wealth, which according to the Guinness Book of Records is the world’s largest fountain! You can watch it light up at night for wild, brightly coloured laser shows after snapping up some wicked upmarket wardrobe items at one of the 300+ shops. For more retail therapy, splurge in sunlit luxury in The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands or Orchard Central, Singapore’s tallest vertical shopping centre rising 12 floors above the ground. Whatever you do, don’t forget about Orchard Road! This two-kilometre boulevard is packed with shopping malls and restaurants on a walkway beneath the shade of the lovely green angsana trees.

If you’re a foodie, you’ve come to the right place. Evening markets and street hawkers have delightful local cuisine on the cheap or you can splash out a little and go for the Michelin stars. Nature lover? Check out the hamadryas baboons (and spot your other ex!) at Singapore Zoo or wander the Singapore Botanic Gardens, which has over 60,000 plants.

If you want to escape the hectic city pace for a while, some of Singapore’s other islands are definitely worth a visit. Ubin Island has wetlands, dirt paths, forests and absolutely no shopping malls, and Palau Hantu is a great place to snorkel and scuba dive on the quiet beaches. Sound amazing? Then jump right in. Live every lastminute in Singapore with one of our Singapore accommodation deals below and don’t forget your Singapore flights!
