The good:
1. all the conveniences of a 4 star hotel or more in a super compact format ( hairdryer, in room safe, kettle tea and coffee, free bottled water, mini fridge, spacious shower and toilet.
2. still decent space to walk around the bed even if the bed is flat ( solo traveler)
3. separate drinking water faucet which I’m assuming is filtered water. Surprise bonus!
4. There is a foldable luggage rack which means there is space for it, but it gets in the way.
5. clever built-in cubbies/ shelves into the wall and dresser, but worried I’d forget anything tucked away so didn’t use them much.
6. 4 clever sturdy hooks where you can hang up bags so they don’t take up surface space .
7. The walk to the mrt station is completely sheltered from rain
8. Location is fab. Easy to pop back to your room after a busy morning shopping in the area.
9. If you skip housekeeping for a day and put out the sign by 2am, you get a $8 voucher for the cafe (excl breakfast). Didn’t use them though.
The bad:
1) The room IS small , feels damp and stuffy which did make me want to leave the room the first day.
2) housekeeping ( compulsory every 3 days I heard) put your luggage on the corridor due to the cramped space - security risk.
3) And lastly the hotel is BUSY, soo many people checking in or out. Elevators can be full and quite a wait, despite there being 8 of them. couldn’t help feeling like a rat streaming out of the hotel in the am. So that’s it, a human-rat hotel experience.
