Room was the smallest I’ve ever seen, and it was an “upgraded” queen room. There was a loud popping noise that happened every 5 minutes as if the building were settling. The electricity would go off for a few seconds multiple times a day, and when it did, it reset the AC. So when it happened at night I’d wake up sweating from the heat. It was obnoxious. I can live with these typical hotel issues. But the real problem was that they messed up my booking, “fixed” it for $72, and then when it still wasn’t correct 3 days later my room key stopped working and they spent 30 minutes “fixing” it again. Meanwhile, the manager and both agents I spoke to were clueless and brushed off my request for the $72 back. One of my worst hotel experiences ever.

I choose this hotel as it seemed like a good location and price and had rooms that slept 3. However, it ended up being a less than ideal option as the rooms are exceedingly small and there was an extremely foul odor in the hallways that made me gag. It's a new hotel, but many areas were rather unclean and I was glad we only spent 1 night here. I would not stay again.

Great location in Chinatown within walking distance of the Buddha Tooth Relic, Sri Mariaman temples, several hawker centers, shopping and restaurants/cafes including Ya Kun Kaya for the traditional kaya toast breakfast. Hotel is modern, clean and connected to the MRT station which made it easy to travel from Changi Airport. Rooms are on smaller side, but efficient and not unusual for a major Asian city center property. Best room feature is a separate filtered water tap to refill flasks. There is a Cheers convenience store directly in front of main hotel lobby driveway for sundries, cold drinks, etc. Also a 7-Eleven across the street. This was a great home base for our first time visiting Singapore. Would stay again.

This property is located near many shopping and eating districts. The lower level food hall is great. But keep in mind of its hours. I gave this hotel 2 stars because we asked for an early check-in, however the AC was NOT working in our room, we called downstairs and they sent maintenance. The maintenance reset the AC unit and told us it will cool down. We left to get food and came back, IT NEVER COOLED! They offered to move our room at 10pm! And still charged us an early check-in fee of $119 WHICH WAS RIDICULOUS!!!! We didn’t even use the room! They claimed “because we went into the room they had to justify the early check-in charge” I DO NOT recommend this hotel and their “FEES”

We didn't have breakfast there so can't comment on food. Loved the location, with close access to 3 MRT stations, shops, cafes, restaurants in Chinatown. Only criticism would be the room size is small, and no wardrobe for storage.
