The staff was friendly and accommodating. For a 5 star rated hotel, the standard rooms were small, with very little space for unpacked clothes. One needs to live out of a suitcase. The bathroom drain control was loose - and was a challenge to use. A nicer shower curtain would be an improvement, rather the sheet of plastic used.

Great pool area, clean and comfortable room. We were lucky enough to get a brilliant view over the pool, river and city! Staff keen to look after you, we left the do not disturb sign on the door as we didnt feel we needed room cleaning but were asked 3 times if we were sure!

Room was okay. Smaller than what it looks like in the pictures. Probably the only hotel in Asia that does not have a health faucet next to the toilet. Coffee shop staff rude & condescending. Front desk staff unhelpful and discourteous. Even something as simple as wanting change - they flatly say we don’t keep any .. which is bizarre for a hotel. Concierge team is excellent - the other staff should learn manners from them.

I booked my stay based on the hotel having a large pool with big cushions on the loungers. I was disappointed to discover they have not had them for a long time. The chairs were designed to have cushions. The pool had a lot of chipped and broken tiles. The room was ok but nothing special. Not a great 5 star hotel

Hotel did nothing about a noisy neighbour who was on their phone shouting from 1AM till 6AM. Despite multiple calls throughout the night nothing was done. They also have a number of fines and house rules like student accommodation. In reality this is run like a budget hotel with a pool.

Lovely Hotel in great location. Handy for MRT & buses. Easy riverside walk to city marina bay and gardens. Plenty of eateries in the area and a lovely supermarket in the mall opposite to stock up the fridge. The only downside was small restaurant and no comfy lounge or bar area to relax in other than reception lobby or pool area ( unless you pay a premium for club rooms ). Also don’t buy a tourist card for transport as all buses and mrt take contactless cards ( tap in and out ) .. dirt cheap travel.

We stay here for our 30th anniversary. The hotel is clean and the staff are super helpful. The hotel is also close the MRT station as well which makes it super easy to get around.

Very pleasant hotel in great location - walking distance from Clarke Quay activity but far enough away to avoid noise and late night activities there if you wish. Small but clean, very comfortable rooms with all the facilities you would expect at 5 star level. Enjoyed our stay, but rate 4 out of 5 for avfew reasons that may matter less to you a) no a la carte breakfast option ( full buffet or nothing), other "unusual responses" at restaurant - when returning late afternoon on a hot humid Saturday attempting to order cold drinks and ice cream, was "we dont do dessert on weekends". Service in general very polite but sometimes not responsive. A small oversight in house keeping, not replenishing toilet paper becomes frustrating when an hour after calling to request more TP, a guest can use bathroom functionality as no TP has arrived. None of these is huge deal but taken collectively for me prevents straight 5 star rating. However overall very pleasant stay
