I lived at this hotel 3 years ago and rebooked this hotel for my Singapore trip with family. I have to say their service and amenities got significantly worse than 3 years ago. Amenities are not getting well maintained, all incidents on google reviews are true 1. Poor AC, first night AC was not working. We had late night flight and they were unable to fix it right away. We waited until the next morning and hotel gave us free breakfast and got it fixed. In Singapore, it was hot; AC is very important, this really shocked us. 2. Room lock - room lock ran out of battery, we could not get in, and we have to ask technician to exchange battery And 3rd day, my mom was locked from inside. You can get into the room from outside, but we cannot get out of the room. We reported and luckily we headed to dinner and night garden visit. They fixed that during our outing 3. Cleaning - no cleaning at all at 6pm for consecutive 3 nights. We just want to rest. So we exchanged the towels with janitor only. (We did not use their vanities and coffees) 4. Poor staff communication - you need to stick with one staff and get things fixed before his shift is done, otherwise, you need to restart again. (Staff did not leave notes or do anything during shifts) 5. Elevator was not working - yes, rumors from online are true. You might occasionally got locked at elevator with no AC 6. Room - curtain has multiple holes Anyway, it was a totally different stay than 3 years ago. I hope this hotel can improve

I lived at this hotel back in 2022 winter, and I rebooked this place because I had good experience before. But this year, the service and amenities got significantly worse Arrived at super late night due to flight delay, they even planned to put me as no show and put a fine Then we reached our room, ac was NOT working. We tried to put the room temperature to 19 degree, after 1 hour, it did not work, so I had to call reception. It was a long wait and long process. The technician checked and confirmed there was a problem. He suggested putting temperature to lowest and turn the fan to highest mode. And then they left us for 30 min and never came back to fix it. We suffered a night and came to reception in the morning, then they gave us breakfast for free and set someone to fix it; incident 2: during day 2, door key was not working because the door lock went out of battery. We have to go up and down and even recorded the incident to proof; then they sent technician to change the battery; incident 3: during day 3, the door got locked again. We were not able to get out from room; only the janitor could use his key to open the door for us. We reported again. This stay was definitely horrible. Compare to their 3 years ago, room was not maintained very well, and management had a lot of problem. If I was working with one receptionist, I need to stick with her/him. Once their shift was done, no one knew anything, we had to start over again…

Front desk staff during the day were generally lacking in warmth. One of the night staff at the front desk and a room cleaner were very pleasant. Metal trim embedded in the floor of my room was uncomfortable to walk on as it hurt my feet. Bed was lovely, shower worked well. Room service was good and quick.

Friendly staff, good value of the price vs what you get. The rooms are a bit small with very few electric sockets outtakes and I did not like to have the sink in the living room where hair residues from shaving e.g ends up in the carpet and hard to clean. Gorgeous stay - it was the start of our honeymoon and we were greeted with gifts and chocolates and a card on the bed which was a lovely touch! Room was lovely, nice outdoor space. Pool and gym were immaculate and very lovely! Staff were also very nice :)
