Nice budget property in a cool area in Singapore with lots of restaurants and shops. A bit far from the closest metro stops but it’s a cheap Grab ride to the airport.

Stayed in a Superior Room with Twin beds. Served by a Malay male staff who do not seem to welcome guests. Originally was given a room with aircond water splashed upon switching it on and loud motor noise. After requested, changed us to a corner room which smells upon opening three room and it is obviously smaller size. Both rooms are at level 3. We asked if there are rooms at level 2 and was given one that's cleaned properly with refreshing smell and aircond seems new and it is quiet. The Hotel actually NO Longer provides bottled water, you can bring your bottle to refill at level 1 dispenser. In room provides one 3pin socket near bed and another one at study table along with two USB. Tooth brush & paste are provided but you need to bring in your coffee cup if you need a tumbler. May want to bring a small piece of soap or own handwash as there's no soap dispenser at basin area to save inconvenience of stepping in out the shower cubical just to use their all in one wash. Bed is of good support but pillow will sink after free hours of sleep, do ask for extra as base support.

Good location close to airport

Rooms are fairly small and little worn but everything work and bed was very comfortable. Local area has number of historical building being restored and has good range of food and coffee options and a number of massage/reflexology places. Hotel will keep luggage after you check out which is helpful if have late flight

The main reason for my stay was an early flights the next day. Great location with lots of restaurants and shops around. Also only15-20min from the airport if you are taking a taxi/Grab. I decided to go with public transit, which involves a bus to MRT transfer (or you can walk 20 min). It took around 1 hour total door to door. The hotel itself was fine for a night. I don’t mind staying in windowless rooms, but there needs to be good lighting in the room, which was not the case. The bathroom had one very small light that made almost no difference. I also found the mattress to be very hard and would have found it difficult to sleep on it more than 1-2 nights. Overall, i would stay again as the price was worth its proximity to the airport and the Joo Chiat neighborhood was quite nice.
