Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Centrally located

The Godfrey was centrally located to all the places we went. Walking was easy, finding an uber, too. There was a parking garage around the corner that was not expensive. Staff was friendly and helpful. And the rooftop lounge was a go-to to relax and enjoy a cocktail before getting ready to go out. We loved the spacious room and everything was clean and comfortable. We especially loved that we could slightly open the windows for some fresh air. Our view was of the city skyline and it was breathtaking at night. We highly recommend the Godfrey and look forward to returning there next year!

Nice hotel but directions to get there definitely need improved! Had so much trouble finding the main entrance and parking. They should notify people that it’s right next to the Wolf Point Plaza parking. My Google Maps and Apple Maps kept me going around in circles. Breakfast bar was terrible. Hot food was cold, bread was stale. They did give me a break on pan parking because of that. Rooms were ok, workout facility nice. Location was nice, we were able to walk to magnificent mile and navy pier.

Rooms are really small and it seems like they didn’t take their time to clean it. The bathroom was not clean and had empty body wash and hand soap dispensers. The staff there weren’t welcoming either. Overpriced for a room that was dark and had a bad odor to it. Spent the night then checked out as soon as we could. Never again.

Seems like a hotel that was nice 10 - 20 years ago and hasn't been kept up well at all. Gym was very dirty, my room had stains on the headboard where drinks had been spilt on it in the past, marks all over the walls. Staff was nice. Very odd hotel as it once seemed to be very nice.
