The room was clean and had all the things we needed for our stay. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. They had a huge spread for breakfast. Could get crazy when everyone was using the elevators because they do not have stairs.

The hotel was booked full during our stay and it was evident that the staff were trying hard to keep up with everything. Staff are excellent and accommodating. Breakfast was not great due to the number of people being served at the same time. Good containers emptied and dining room seating was completely full.

Our room and all public areas were hot and uncomfortable. The housekeeping staff we encountered was very rude.The suite was large enough for 5 of us to be comfortable, however, we had to call 3 times to the desk to get extra towels as the suites only had 3 sets.

I had a city view room and when I opened the window I was staring at the parking lot wall. There was no city view at all. When I checked in the staff asked me to sign for the total and never explained why the amount was so high or that I would be reimbursed. When I departed the staff was much nicer and explained everything to me without even asking. The bathroom wasn’t fully clean. There was hair in the bathtub in several areas and the bathtub was chipped. Overall the lobby and other levels of the hotel were nice. We ate the breakfast that was good. Bagels, omelettes, cereal etc were available.

We had a wonderful stay, hadn’t been to Chicago in awhile & wanted to be in an area that was near Navy Pier, Michigan Ave, etc-this always absolutely perfect for that! So much just a short walk away! Love the quiet & comfort, happy hour, breakfast & gym!
