The originally room they checked us into was terrible and nowhere near as nice as the photos in the listing. It also had water leaking from the ceiling from the room above. It had paint peeling on walls and ceilings throughout. A hole in the door. We reported this to the front desk and they moved us to a different room. They claimed they were “upgrading” us, but when we went to the new room it ended up being the exact same room that we were in previously, just on a different floor. In this new room, the carpet was stained and smelled terrible. The beds had stained bedding on them. The pullout couch bed didn’t work & wouldn’t come out so one of us had to sleep on the couch for 4 nights. The bathroom light would flicker on and off throughout the night and would not turn off so that kept one of the kids up at night since it was so bright. The windows are terribly thin and uninsulated so we got no sleep at all because of the loud noise of wind, cap cars, traffic all night, ambulances/firetruck sirens, people yelling up and down the busy streets, etc. The included breakfast was terrible. The eggs were watered down and mushy everyday, the pancakes were dry and hard/crispy, the sausage was cold everyday, it had a very small selection so we ended up having to buy breakfast elsewhere each morning which was expensive & we did not budget for that since we assumed we would be eating breakfast at the hotel each day, that’s actually one reason we booked this hotel. Really bad experience.
