Excellent stay. Incredibly friendly staff and the room was basic but clean and cozy. Wonderful location! Grocery stores are close by and you can microwave your food in the common breakfast area to keep your trip on budget! Would book this hidden gem again.

We booked 2 nights at this hotel, and we didn't like it at all. This is a small 2 story old building hotel. It's very old and it smells like it. When we first came the owner was out in front barefoot talking to guests. Parking is on the street, and they give you a permit so you don't have to pay, but you may have to search around for parking as other residents in the area also park on the street. As we walked in the reception is simple and primitive. The floor was dark wood transitioning to carpet. The smell of the old building was the first thing that hit us. Then the old carpet that contributed to smell, paper thin walls and single pane windows that didn't block any sound whatsoever. The room locks were basic household locks that didn't feel safe at all. The key was simple residential key. Perhaps the worst of all was the beds. They were beat up, old and sagging in places. The mattresses made so many sounds. There apparently was a party upstairs and they kept us awake most of the night. Like I said before this place has no soundproofing and with old single pane windows you can hire people whispering outside. We booked 2 nights here and only stayed one. We couldn't imagine staying there another night. The wall heater unit doesn't work properly. It just blows cold and supposedly maintained set temperature. We ended up getting sick from it. We stayed at 4 hotels during our LA trip and ironically this place was the most expensive and worst experience from all.

El servicio de limpieza era amigable y dejaban las cosas impecables. Pero la alfombra del lugar parece que nunca fue cambiada desde que se inauguró o limpiada desde que se inauguró. El desayuno era inexistente realmente no tienen nada que ofrecer más que jugos de cartón caducados, yogures caducados. El ac perfecto ningún inconveniente. Deberían hacer un cambio completo para lo que cuesta. Gran ubicación pero estado pauperrimo de las instalaciones. No volveré ni de broma.

The room was large and clean. The best part of the stay was the night manager. The sweetest and went out of the way for us!! We had some issues that came up and he happily helped us. …we will recommend the place to others. It’s not a fancy hotel at all, but it was comfortable and well priced.
