Bad communication

The apartment was great and the best location but getting hold of someone to arrange where to get key was horrible was meant to call 72 hours before to arrange where to pick up key from but couldn’t get hold of anyone tried a few times a day left messages on the answering machine and even on the day we were to booking in, still no one would answer my calls. Very frustrating by around 2pm when we were meant to book in we were thinking we had been had. And had lost all our money. With many calls to the apartments and also Hotels.com we finally receive our key. Our apartment was privately owned.

pool and gym were excellent The room over looking the Gold Coast highway was noisy and for the price, i would have expected an ocean view. The room it self was ok, two of the four glasses were cracked, there were not enough plates or bowls.

We have stayed here many times but the individually owned apartment this time was a bit tired and worn. The carpets were stained and the lounge needs replacing. Little things like having limited cooking utensils, no knives for cutting or regular sized glassware, no bathroom bins, clothes rack or face washers provided all added to the inconvenience. With TVs missing remotes or batteries and no access to anything other than free to air TV meant we relied on our own devices. The unit was very clean but it didn’t feel it. Some of the gym equipment is not working. The location and amenities make it such a great choice for accommodation but some extra maintenance work and attention to the building is definitely needed.

Booked and paid for one night in a three bedroom apartment, drove from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, my oversight but there is no front desk reception, so had to call someone who would then drop off keys for access, however at “check in” is when I was advised there was no apartment available for me!! I still don’t know how this can happen, if there’s nil availability I should not have been able to book and pay for the night, we couldn’t find appropriate accommodation at such notice so had to drive home that same afternoon . Waste of my time, fuel and not a happy young family.

Its in a great location. Free parking. There was no free wifi like advertised. The apartment was spacious, comfy bed though few dirty plates, bottle top and rubbish found under bed , i think could have been a little cleaner. Gym wasnt open due to covid. Pool was limited.people.

Ideal for 5-6 people, 3 bedrooms so still had privacy if needed. It was a great location in Broadbeach, 5 mins walk to everything. Very good, efficient service by the Property Managers, we will definitely use this again next time we are in Broadbeach. Highly recommended.
