Panoramic views

Stay in a 2-bedroom Ocean suite with elderly parents. We chose the location for its proximity to shops so that they can relax and enjoy. They loved watching the sunrise from their bedroom. Staff allowed us to check in early at 2pm instead of the 3 pm. Would stay again for convenience and location.

View was magnificent! Area was quiet and not far from the busy restaurants and shopping Tram was so easy to get to places Property was a little old. The hairdryer head was broken and swapped for another one, but that was broken too. Abit hassle to try and call to ask for toiletries or coffee or general amenities.

Great view. Good location. Below average check-in times and parking. Room was clean and tidy but quite stuffy air quality. Room fixtures loose. Air conditioner controls temperamental. Strange to find a child size toilet in the ensuite.

Fantastic family getaway

Fantastic location in the heart of surfers paradise and easy walking distance to lots of eateries, activity zones and convenience stores. Couldn’t fault the location at all right in front of the beach. Spacious and clean property with wonderful amenities. 2 great restaurants on site as well as a small cafe that you can use for breakfasts however we enjoyed the kitchen in the apartment and cooked a basic breakfast every morning. Views of ocean from the seating area, the main bedroom and a small glimpse from the second bedroom so that was fantastic to wake up to. Heated pool indoors and outdoors were well utilised as the days were sunny but cool and evenings were really cold. Sauna was also wonderful. Loved this hotel, if I were to return to Gold Coast we would definitely use Meriton properties in other locations now.

Great views of Surfer Paradise and comfy stay

Our 3 nights stay at Meriton Suites Surfer Paradise was very pleasant with easy early check in and we were able to store our luggage at the reception before heading to the Gold Coast Marathon Expo. Appreciated the surprise sparkling wine and balloon when we arrived at the apartment. The views of Surfers Paradise was amazing from balcony and bedroom. The aircon control was separate for the bedroom which needs to turned on if not it can be hot. The shower pressure was great. The location of the apartment is excellent with tram just in front of the apartment and the beach just across the road. There is 1 Cafe on ground floor and 2 restaurants on level 1 which is convenient we didn't get to try as we preferred to walk to Cavill Avenue which is a short walk. The night markets were great on the weekend to explore and only a short walk. If you are doing Gold Coast Marathon staying at Meriton Suites is a great location to watch the marathoners run past along Surfers Paradise. My son and hubby loved the indoor pool and hot spa especially in winter. The Outdoor pool is nice as well with ample seating and a spa. There is a gym, sauna room, shower also on Level 5. Our apartment was on level 29 great ocean views and quiet. The king bed was comfy and we woke up to beautiful sunrise. Kitchen fully equipped with laundry washing machine & dryer. Check out was easy and fast. We stored our luggage before going to airport. Will stay again.

Parking is not ideal. Didn’t like to park my brand new car offsite in open air. (Lucky it wasn’t raining, otherwise walking in the rain with luggage would have really been annoying). I won’t stay there again for this very reason. The towels were awful quality and extremely small! No face washers! Just the small things which would go a long way but building itself was very well maintained and the Italian restaurant was great.
