on the booking page says parking available but it is not onsite so have to walk 6 or 7 minutes with luggage as the drive through was overcrowded. Went to order pizza and drink for room service but order refused as minimum order $90??? so then had to walk into town to get some food The tiled floor in my room had sand on it from previous guest which was annoying

Was a great location and room was sparsely furnished but comfortable. Would prefer an open balcony, but on a 2 night stay it really wasn’t a bother. Friendly staff at check in. Loved the view :)

Unfortunately my stay at Meriton Surfers I would say was the worst Meriton experience I’ve ever had. I’ve stayed in Meriton’s all over Australia with always a pleasant experience. This Meriton was unfortunately a different experience. It started with the parking being about 500m offsite in an unsecured open car park. While entering the car park my number plate was meant to be picked up to let me in, it didn’t. I spoke to the staff to try and fix it and the lady just told me “my number plate was in the system so there’s nothing else that can be done”. So I had to ring the private company to let me in everytime I entered the carpark, which led to getting abused by other people trying to get into the car park as well. This was also communicated to the staff and the lady just said, sorry there’s nothing she could do. Also the room I paid extra for for a beach view, you could see a slither of the ocean from the balcony which was also disappointing. The room was clean and tidy and the hotel was well positioned to the hustle and bustle of Surfers.

I made a terrific choice to stay here. Our initial greeting at the door was very friendly and welcoming and our check in guy (Josh) was a perfect fit for that position. We stayed for 5 days and throughout our stay, nothing was a problem or too hard. The Hr person has got everything just right. Our rooms were very well appointed and cleanest that you might expect. We were very impressed with everything.

An excellent place to stay. It has all the advantages of an apartment, including a washing machine and dryer, in a building that has the amenities of a hotel (pools, gym, restaurant). Plus you get beautiful views in a great location. 100% recommend.
