Very disappointed in this property. Misleading info concerning a shuttle bus. This property does not have one. Called them to request a pick up and told to catch a yellow shuttle only to be informed once we were on the shuttle, we would have to pay $16 each for a 2km journey. Staff on reception quite rude and not at all understanding of the situation. We them we to eat in the restaurant and again were very disappointed in the lack of choice on the menu, not salads or light meals and the high price. The staff at the restaurant seemed to not know what they were doing either. We googled other eating places nearby and ended up at the Post Office with a very pleasant meal. Overall very disappointed in this hotel. A far cry from the Sudima at Christchurch Airport. Would not recommend.

I would have liked to rate this hotel higher but I feel I can’t. We had issues with the elevators going up to floor four. The doors wouldn’t open and so we would have to go down again and get out on the second floor and then get in another one to get back up to our floor. This happened three times in a row. The beds are horribly uncomfortable and the pillows are just as uncomfortable. My husband ended up sleeping on the floor for half the night and I was generally just uncomfortable in the beds but it was that or the floor. The place was generally clean and shower pressure was great. The receptionist was nice but when I phoned down for some milk for a tea, no one answered so I went down to get some but there was one person on the counter and the line had several people in it to check in so I gave up and went back to my room with no milk.

Positives: comfortable bed, good A/C, quiet. Experienced and professional front desk experi nice. Restaurant Staff was very lean and lacking, so, two stars. The handicapped room shower results in water escaping beyond the shower all over bathroom floor. There was only one vegan meal of Szechuan tofu and veggies. This very saucy and assertive dish was served with NO RICE. One person in our party ordered roast chicken , which did not come out until 20 minutes after all other food was served. This is not how meal service should happen. She then felt rushed to eat her meal as we all watched her eat, having already finished.

Good Airport Hotel.

Good airport hotel with a bus at the door to take you to the terminal The location is not the best, but this hotel is perfect for an overnight stay prior to flying out if you have just arrived.

Comfortable sleep, Clean!

It was a short stay overnight but we had a comfortable sleep with great pillows. We could not adjust the air conditioning temperature from auto. We found it hard to work out and the windows could not be opened.

Unlike most hotels, we've stayed, the one thing we noticed on the properties are they do not have a convenient store in-house for travel necessities we might have forgotten or needed. Otherwise, the staff are all nice and helpful.
