The property itself was decent. However we found that the breakfast buffet ran out of items and you either had to wait for them to be refilled or change what you wanted. We stayed two nights, and the room was never serviced. Ok, so things get missed, but we then spoke to reception who assured us it would get done while we were out - still wasn’t done. For checkout, the valet was quite slow, and they advised us it would take 45 minutes for our bags to be brought down. When the staff were informed of the lack of house keeping, there was no real apologies or anything to make amends, just that they would pass it on. Sadly, the lack of cleaning, out of breakfast items and bad checkout really left a sour taste in our mouth after this was meant to be a special weekend away.
