Rydges is situated perfectly not too busy and your keycard is required entering the hotel after hours. There’s a bacon where you can eat if you don’t want to fine in your room from Uber eats. The staff is very friendly.

Room was very clean, awesome bathroom and shower. The bed was the highlight though, the most comfortable bed we had in all the places we stayed in New Zealand!

You’re paying for the location

It was pretty good! The hotel itself is sort of average, but you’re paying the the location! It’s nice and close to nearly EVERYTHING you’d like to do in downtown Auckland. Also if you have a car the parking next door is relatively cheap per day, although it’s also a bit cramped feeling if you have a larger vehicle

Excellent Service and ammenities, especially for a last minute business meeting booking using the in-house corporate meeting/events spaces (internet was great) at a very reasonable price. Food was great too! I recommend the Ribs ;) and I really like that there is happy hour at the bar or any of the local haunts pretty much all week. Very accessible to the entire city by foot, next time i hope to stay on a higher floor to check the views although room 308 even at the back on level 3 the sunset was pretty and the blockout curtains were great and the AC was very useful… bathroom very clean shower was excellent. Thanks Rydges Auckland and Expedia for the great stay/deal.

Enjoyed my stay here. Air con in my room was playing up but they offered multiple solutions and moved rooms for me. Very much appreciated this and their fast response. Location is key with this hotel, just a very short walk to Sky City and shopping just down the road.
