The room was very comfortable. I was upgraded from a standard room to a one bedroom and really appreciated the extra comfort as I was on a short layover and needed the rest. The coffee machine made great coffee and I enjoyed the complimentary bottled water. This hotel is ideally located as you can take the skytrain to and from the airport. My only concern was that I did not know how to get a dial tone on the phone (apparently there are instructions). I needed to rely on my own alarm without a wake up call which was not ideal as I only had 5 hours to sleep before needing to return to the airport. I would stay here again.

The resort is nice for a staycation however, if you are planning on using the pool, be warned it is not heated. The pool is ice cold. We booked the hotel since the images of the pool were so nice however, we could only use the pool for ~10 minutes before we were too cold and had to go to the hot tub. Hot tub was packed with adults and children due to this.

I had a suite in the Casino Tower. It was a nice size and clean and had a nice walk in shower. The furniture was cheap and uncomfortable, with a sofa like something from a cheap rental company. The bed was okay, though to my taste the matress was too soft. The TV had no internet cpabilities, so No Netflix or YouTube, just "pay per view" and the typical cable TV channels. The room service menu is poor with limited selctions. It is in a convenient location, in that the "Sky Train" light rail station is a 2 minute walk from the tower, and from there downtown Vancouver and the airport are easily accessible. Overall, it is an okay property that is quite dated. I doubt that I would book it again.
