The hotel is well maintained and the staff are friendly and very helpful. It is a beautiful building architecturally - spacious. Accessibility is great for those using a walker. We were happy with the pizza and burger places in the casino. The Chinese food in the casino was inconsistent in quality. Sometimes there was a lot of vegis and sometimes nothing. The food in the hotel itself was excellent. We did not try the Gordon Ramsey restaurant though- a little pricey. The Starbucks was nice to have and we frequently enjoyed the prepared sandwiches they sold for breakfast. Being next to the Vancouver transit train/bus terminal was a big plus. The only sour note was being ambushed by a $23.00/day "resort fee" when we checked in. If this was included in the fees I paid Expedia, I would have not thought much of it. River Rock should include this up front through Expedia so that their guests don't feel they are being nickel and dimed. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again if fate lands us in Richmond in the future.

The carpeted areas of the room could’ve used a vacuum but otherwise, everything else seemed clean and well attended too. The room was comfortable and spacious. Convenient location with close proximity to everything Richmond has to offer. Would definitely stay again.

It was too hot in the middle of the night. When we call front desk many times in the morning and also evening there’s no answer. But it was a quiet stay and easy to look for restaurant closed by within the area wc is good.

The hotel smelled like cleaner. We stayed in a suite and the bedroom was hot while the living room was cold. The furniture was chipped. The shower and bathroom were really nice. For the money I spent, I would not stay here again.

Staff was great as always. Rooms def need an upgrade. But the beds and pillows are amazing. I really miss the lounge in the lobby. Disappoint Ted there isn’t a bar in there anymore- made way for the gambling😢Def not a fun place like it used to be
