This has been one of my favorite places to stay over the years. This particular trip was very disappointing, there was a planned power outage that lasted the entire day, which meant that the restaurants were not open, e had no power in our room, and there was limited power elsewhere in the building. Although we knew it was happening, I still felt that they should’ve offered us something as compensation which they did not. They also charge us $100 per night deposit, which was new and not appreciated.

Did not use the pool or spa, as we were just overnight. Room was lovely with master bedroom king and living area. Bathroom was a good size with walk in shower. Will stay again.

If you want to spend the whole night unable to sleep from 2AM till 9 AM listening to someone pressure washing the hotel sidewalks then River Rock is the place to stay! I’m so glad they used one of those extra loud industrial machines too, the quieter ones are so ‘yesterday’! And, why on earth would you do it in the daytime!?!?

Nice place, perfect location to get around, Casino bathrooms needed more attention, sofa bed and other furniture need to be updated… not good for 60+ crowd but rooms were clean. Bathtub too tall and skinny to be safe for older folks. But I would stay there again when all is said and done.
