In the middle of nowhere. Far away from the airport and shuttles only once per hour. Gave our connecting room to someone with the same last name instead of our reservation. Pool was murky and hot tub not hot. Shower had mildew stains. Pillows were hard. air conditioner in shuttle didn’t work. On the good side, water was hot.

Breakfast was good and easy parking. Bathroom was quite small and smelly. One of the toilet roll stands was broken and the shower faucet was loose! We booked a room that said kitchen was included, however we got one with a kitchenette. Of course we were not happy with that. We had to request for a cooking pot since the ones we got won’t work on the portable induction stove. The front desk staff wasn’t happy to replace one in the first place. She mentioned since our room has a kitchenette and not a proper kitchen, she can’t offer one. Upon my insistence, she wanted me to ask the housekeeping staff myself for a cooking pot. Eventually, she did ask the housekeeping staff to provide one. I even had to show my booking receipt which mentioned kitchen and not kitchenette. Overall, not a pleasant experience other the parking and breakfast options. The front desk staff who checked us in when we arrived was very welcoming as well!

Holiday Inn’s Customer Service Shines

Shortly after checking in, we noticed the air conditioning unit in our room was making loud noises. I called the front desk to report the issue and requested a room change. Initially, they suggested sending someone to check the AC or adjusting the temperature to reduce the noise, but couldn't accommodate a room change. Given the sweltering mid-July heat, this wasn't a viable solution. Meanwhile, I received a greeting text message from the hotel, which I assumed was automated. However, I decided to respond and explain the AC issue, stating that if they couldn't change the room, we'd have to cancel and find alternative accommodations. To my surprise, they responded promptly, saying they'd need 10 minutes to find a solution. True to their word, they quickly relocated us to another room with a perfectly functioning AC. We were impressed by their efficient problem-solving, facilitated through text messages with Farah GM. Kudos to the Holiday Inn team for their great customer service!

Comfortable stay

Our stay and experience was great; bed was really comfortable and breakfast was fairly good. The service at breakfast was excellent specially by Juvy Santiago who was always working with a smile and cleaning the tables as soon as we were done so the next guest can sit at the table.

Stayed here for the night (checked in 11:45pm) to catch plane next morning, but when we went to use the bathroom at 7:00am the toilet over flooded the room. Told front desk immediately, but she said we needed to wait 2 hours until maintenance came in. Couldn’t take shower or use bathroom. Didn’t offer to move us rooms so we could take a shower before leaving or offer us any other compensation for our inconvience. Don’t recommend.
