Seriously, once you’ve finished high tea in one of the tea rooms on Georgia Street, you can let your hair down. To get around in “Saltwater City”, book one of our sweet Vancouver car hire options, rent a bicycle or take the metro—you’ve got lots of options. No Vancouver holiday is complete without an arvo at Stanley Park, a sprawling green space on the waterfront between the English Bay and Vancouver Harbour. If you’re really into going au naturel, then wander down to Wreck Beach, the city’s only clothing-completely-optional stretch of sand. But please, keep your knickers on when you putter over to Canada Place for a harbour cruise. The adrenaline-inclined don’t have to rock the boat for a good time on Vancouver holidays. Test your courage (and the tread on your shoes) at the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge in North Vancouver. They say don’t look down, but from 50 metres above rivers, flora and fauna, that’s kind of the point.
In Vancouver, the shopping scene ranges from peculiar to posh depending on the particular neighbourhood or street corner. If you want the Full Monty of Vancouver shopping, grab your wallet and sift through the designer boutiques and eclectic vintage collections. If you shop till you almost drop, slip into a coffee shop for a pick-me-up and keep picking up the goods.
When coffee and cakes aren’t enough to nosh, fill up on dim sum in Chinatown. As the dumplings make their rounds it won’t feel like you’re consuming your weight in steamed pastries—they’re so small, after all! With strong international influences, Vancouver offers the unique opportunity to stuff your face with fish and chips in a proper pub and finish the meal with a plate of tacos or a bowl of ramen.
When you’re planning to spend the evening on Canada’s West Coast, be sure to book Vancouver packages with hotels near the neighbourhoods where you plan to hang. Yaletown is the place to go for ridiculously good-looking cocktails and equally endearing locals. To learn how to dougie with the best of them, whip and nae nae over the downtown Granville Entertainment District to hop and shimmy through the best dance clubs in town.
Take your pick of accommodation and airfares to bundle savings in one of our Vancouver holiday packages. Keep the good times rolling through this Pacific Coast province with British Columbia holidays in nearby Richmond, Surrey and anywhere else your maple-craving heart desires. lastminute.com.au has the best deals for the intrepid traveller. Great room, great view, well worth the upgrade , it is a pity that it is attached to a completly disfunctional airport, surely the people who design airports travel themselves. The front desk staff were excellent, cheerful and friendly.

The room was basic but clean. There was a 5 dollar fee for room service which i find odd plus the wifi connection was tempermental but the staff was wonderful to deal with.

The hotel is in need of a lift upgrade- they are incredibly noisy. We had to ask to change rooms on the first night due to the noise. Even when in our news room some distance from the lifts they still sounded like a freight train running all night.
