City Construction of street in front of YWCA building meant catching uber around corner --not a permanent nor hotel issue. Very nice place that is a nonprofit hotel supporting housing for women and children.

A very nice place to stay for a great rate. Free coffee and lemon water all day. Comfortable room /bed. Shared bathroom was very secure, as there is a button to push that prevents anyone in the other room from entering whilst the other room occupant(s) are using the facilities. (There are private bathroom rooms avaliable also.) There are kitchens with dining areas on a couple levels /floors. Staff has cookware and dishes available for guest use if you ask for them. Walking distance to shops for groceries, etc. Restaurants and coffee shops very close (walking distance). Staff are very respectful, helpful, and friendly. Would definitely stay again.

The beds were fabulously comfortable and Van city accessiblity was outstanding. 5 min walk anywhere. Rooftop patio a great spot to unwind. Coffee in the morning was terrible.

we had a shared bathroom and the other room was very inconsiderate. they showered at 11:30pm and then again at 6:30am and you could hear it clearly through the door. people were also very noisy coming home at 1am.
