The neighborhood was not so safe, a lot of homeless people around and the room faced out. We didn’t have any problems at night with theft. The room upgrades were nice like the flooring, but our mattresses and extra blankets were disgusting.

I just needed a cheap clean place to crash after a long flight. I don't mind the sparse amenities, but I was hoping for better temperature control and at least one heavy blanket. The room felt very clinical and I did not feel very comfortable. The bed mattress was not firm in my lower back hurt after I woke up.

Too scared to stay in San Fran

Motel 6 is just too crazy expensive for what you get. They don't even give you a fridge and a microwave when cheaper hotels do
