We stayed at the Pink Shell for my 40th birthday. We had 23 people stay. The buffet breakfast that is included is great! The beach is beautiful. There were lots of things to do throughout the day, like candy bingo, crafts for kids, games, kareoke, etc. Ranger Rob is fun! He does some activities and tours as well. The kids all got sunglasses and shell collecting bags with a guide to identifying them. Paddle boarding and kayaking were included. WiFi worked well. Gluten free options at the restaurants. Buffet was labeled as well. The only issue we ran into was a broken elevator on one of the days which required us to walk up a lot of stairs. Also, a lot of our party didn’t love the coffee. These were very minor issues compared to all of the good things we experienced! We all really enjoyed it!

It is a lovely hotel with beautiful views, nice beach and great pool. Food was great at Bongo's and Rae's. It was very nice but due to my friend's foot in a boot, could not walk from building to building. Also, there should be a closer gate to enter and exit in the Sanibel building to the pool and beach. Had to walk through the garage, around the pool on the beach and into the pool area. Also, was not informed of the transportation options for this area. May not have needed to rent a car. A guest told us about the shuttles and bus. I would go back to the hotel though - it really was beautiful!

A little piece of paradise

Staff was super attentive and friendly. From the moment you arrive and turn your vehicle over to the valet staff, they make you feel important and welcome. Building and grounds are in a constant state of being cleaned and maintained. Food and service was excellent.

We enjoyed a wonderful week at Pink Shell! Amazing staff, fabulous grounds. We loved walking along the beach or along the road to get to downtown Ft Myers Beach (less than a mile from the pier area). Would recommend this resort to anyone and especially to those with young children, many family friendly activities.

Our two bedroom unit was nice. Master bath was spacious and nice Gulf view from the living area. Breakfast was well above expectations. I expected a hotel-type free breakfast but it was much better with an omelette station and hot-foods buffet.

Best getaway

We had an incredible stay at the Pink Shell in Fort Myers! The attention to detail, especially for my son, was heartwarming. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make our experience special. The resort’s breathtaking views of the Gulf were the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. The amenities were top-notch, and the family-friendly atmosphere made it easy to unwind while keeping my son entertained. Whether it was the beach, pool, or activities, every aspect was thoughtfully designed. I can’t recommend the Pink Shell enough for families looking for a memorable and stress-free vacation. We’ll definitely be back!
