The room smelled weird, and the TV doesn’t have basic apps like Netflix or YouTube. We asked twice to have the phone replaced because it didn’t work, and they never fixed it. Out of the 4 days we stayed, housekeeping only came once after we requested it twice at the front desk and they arrived about 4 hours later. There are no entertainment areas besides the pool, and the common outdoor spaces are very small. On top of that, they charge $25 per day for parking. There are no nearby shops, cafés, or restaurants within walking distance. I wouldn’t recommend this place for vacations. It feels more like a hotel meant for a one-night stay, not for an actual trip.

There was a strong old/musty smell throughout the hotel, and I stayed on the second floor. The footsteps from guests walking on the third floor were extremely loud and very disturbing. It was also very cold, so I turned on the heater, but it blew out a strong dusty smell and an unpleasant odor, which made the situation even worse.

We have stayed here before..we Love the history of the place, the Decor, the "Old Hollywood" vibe, and the location can't be beat. We were here for the American Exress PGA Tournament. The place is clean, comfortable, and a great value for the money!

Large, clean room. Amazing singing in the lounge in the evenings. Staff was all very kind. We didn’t use the pool but it looked very lovely with towels provided. The place is dated but it’s clean. Feels like stepping back in time and I loved it.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean and serviceable. However the overall feel of the room was very dated to the 80s. The flooring in the hallways is cheap rental laminated snap together that is pulling apart in places. The entire hotel reeks of purple Fabuloso.

Great place to stay! Super clean and we loved the history of the place. My only complaint would be the bed was very uncomfortable and very used and the 4 small square pillows they give to sleep on is not very comfortable.

The room was nice, spacious. I didn’t like that the outdoor patio area for the floor-level rooms were open to the parking lot, meaning no rail to separate the area, but I guess that’s common among other similar places in the area. The toilets did flush very slowly and not completely. While the rate is budget-friendly, it’s not a budget-friendly hotel meaning no microwaves, separate parking fee, etc. Knowing that, I would still stay again, and prepare a little better. Also, very quiet, no loud crowds, everyone was very polite.
