Guests driving to the property should be aware of seasonal road closures. Hwy 120 (Tioga Pass) closes October through late June, restricting east-to-west travel across the park. Yosemite's eastern gate and Tuolumne Meadows are not accessible when Tioga Pass is closed. Guests are advised to check local weather and road conditions/closures with the California Department of Transportation before travel.

Parking was very diffi ult on back side 467 room. U-haul took up 4 parking spaces 1 night. No accessible microwave without walking a great deal out of the way food getting cold before you reached your room. Drink machines out of order. Key locked us out our ladt night but we were able to get help.

Every thing was fine staying there. Shuttle to main building from our cabin was convenient. But we were told different info from different staff regarding breakfast for cabin guests. They were supposed to have free breakfast for cabin guests at the Explorer Club room. One staff said at 6:30 n another staff said at 7. We went there at 6:30 n no one was there. We went to the breakfast place at the main lodge n they said they couldn’t accommodate us, that we had to go back to the Explorer s room. We were told that breakfast was supposed to start at 7 but the staff was late so go there at 7:15. It was too confusing so we left.

Our Premium Explorer cabin was clean, quiet, and quaint. There was plenty of space for the four of us. We appreciated the welcome gift for our dog. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful. We dined at Jackalope’s on two different nights. The salmon was excellent. The wait staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient.

Everyone that worked there was really nice and always willing to help. It was nice every night they give out sticks and everything you need to make smores at the bonfires at night. Pools and hottubs were very relaxing after a long day of hiking. Just be aware food is really expensive at the restaurants inside the hotel.

Tenaya Lodge is simply magical. It is beautiful and beautifully landscaped, has all the conveniences you'd want in the lodge, great pools and spas and is so, so quiet. The staff a gracious and wonderfully accommodating. And the hiking trails right outside of the lodge are fantastic. This resort is also dog friendly! Our two-legged and four-legged family had the best time at the lodge. It is the perfect place to stay when enjoying Yosemite.

We stayed at the explorer cabins. Went for a proposal. The cabins were about 45 mins away from the national park. Overall the cabin was awesome, the only complaint I had was the weak WiFi signal, and the beds could have been a little more comfortable. Overall great place to stay as the lodge had some great food at the restaurants

Just beautiful Lodge! Close to Mariposa sequoia Grove. It is a little far from Yosemite Valley, about 1 our drive one direction. Lots of fun activities, beautiful rooms, great restaurant. Highly recommending it.

folks and surroundings were great. One thing that was uncomfortable was the beds, it sanked so badly on the edge by the night lights. I kept sinking to the sides. Otherwise, great hotel.

This was the best hotel we stayed in during our ten day trip. Beaut=riful inside and out.
