Great location, spacious suites

Very reasonable room price. Separate living room, so we could sit on a couch and chair to watch TV instead of the bed. Very spacious suite. Great location, right next door to Harrah's, only steps away. Parking was $35 per night. With a platinum Harrah's card, you can park next door for free, unlimited. (I think having active military or veteran status will get you a platinum card.) My only negative comment would be that the gal checking us in did not mention we had a $30 food and beverage credit for our 3-night stay, and we spent money in their restaurant and little grocery store while we were there. The woman checking us out mentioned it, and waited for us while we spent $30 for snacks in the store, (our only choice), which was very nice of her. Thank you.

I booked this property for two nights for a wedding being held in the area. An emergency occurred and the guest staying could not show up for the first night. The property did not let me cancel the first night, would not give me any type of refund, and informed me that if someone did not check in on the first night, it would be deemed a no-show and I would be charged 3 digits more. I had to interrupt my day to go into the hotel to check in on behalf of the guest arriving the next day. upon receiving my final bill, I was charged for two nights of valet parking when the guest was only there for one night to the tune of another 3 digits. I was also charged for 2 days of resort fees when the guest was only there for one day. My final bill was an additional gross amount on top of the original booking for two nights - I paid what would be the equivalent of one week in another resort for a wedding guest to stay in this resort for one night. Absolutely do not recommend. Will never do business with this resort again.

The property amenities did not open on Sunday and Monday. We choose the hotel for the reputation on other locations; party place adults and family. The hotel is beautiful. Maybe was the time of the year; April. Snow already melt and the lake temperature was too cold to play. You decide.

What VIP experience? Valet only option for parking is a scam and will be looked into for legality reasons as the hotel is suppose to provide a self park option to guests and forcing a set value price is not legal. The staff needed an attitude adjustment upon checkout and arrival. The "only" restaurant available during our stay also needs to stay operational during the entire time of their posted hours and should not close the grill and stop providing food service well before the posted hours of operation. The room was dirty, the tub had hair in it upon checkin, the blind did not block anything... blackout blinds are suppose to stop the light and they did not, the blinds were not even butted up against the wall. The front room with the pullout couch did NOT even have blackout blinds, so what is that about. Sound was an issue as we could hear people in the adjoining room. This place NEEDS a TON OF WORK!!
