Unfortunate.

I reserved a room type and rate that was not honored at check in. This is because the hotel.com site used a different name for the room than what the hotel used. They were unwilling to honor the reservation as I made it. They offered a free breakfast on the website but there was no breakfast and there wasn’t even coffee and there was no explanation or attempt to fix or compensate for the problem. The room is underfurnished. There was a table in the kitchen but there were no chairs except one rolling desk chair. No body soap in the bathroom or shower.

The place is close to main downtown Sonora, however,this property allows homeless to stay. Hope they let homeless stay at one section so not bother the rest of customers. We stayed the room with jacuzzi but when we try to use it, the gray water came out ( of course we didn't use it!). The hallway and staircase was so dirty. The ice maker is broken. Our friend's room's hair dryer was not working and TV had problem. We would not recommend this place.

Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, if a little awkward to get to. Parking was a bit tight. Plenty of hot water and clean towels. HVAC was loud and blows directly across the beds.

Good place, nice staff.

Staff was friendly, place was clean. If you are a light sleeper, please be aware the heat unit was very very loud (I was worried about the street noise but the unit drowned out any other noise). It was nice to have the continental breakfast.
