Super starters there was no television the whole time I stayed there number two the Wi-Fi barely worked number three the furniture was falling apart number four they had a community refrigerator we put food in there and then we couldn't get our food out they wouldn't come to the desk could ringing ringing ring or call him and they wouldn't come to the front all in all it was a horrible stay

amazing place. this family works hard and it shows. Most historic hotels are quaint but not comfortable. This hotel is wonderful -rooms are charming, pool really nice, and breakfast area can't say enough. Well worth your stay

The property has plenty of vintage charm and low prices. The staff was pleasant and check-in was a breeze. The bed was comfortable. However, the room we stayed in could use several repairs and paint. There were broken chairs and dead plants all around the property too. There was quite a bit of highway noise as well, which I suppose I should’ve just expected since it’s on a major thoroughfare. Also, the pool had not been treated in quite a while based on the algae build up. We skipped it on a very hot day. Lastly, one of our pillows had a dirty foot print on it. We are not very picky at all, especially when the price is right, but I thought others should know some of these details.

There were literally ants EVERYWHERE. Every morning I woke up and killed at least 30 of them. Upon check-in, the man working the front desk also asked a lot of extremely personal questions about my plans and whereabouts, all of which I did not answer as a early 20s young lady for OBVIOUS safety reasons. The pool was extremely murky water, I didn’t get in, and there were people that hung around the pool smoking every night and morning that I was present at the hotel.

Would not recommend this property. Rooms facing the street are extremely noisy, doors and windows have large gaps, Sheer curtains on the doors allow lighting from local Businesses to flood the room with light. Room was dirty under the bed and furnishings. Spider webs in the light fixtures. exposed raised nails on the floor and casework.

Good stay for overnight business trip.

Nice historic location, convenient to downtown Sonora. Fun to stay in period decorated room. Blackout curtians and a taller showerhead would have made great improvements. Bed was comfortable and rocking chairs on porch were a nice touch. Overall a good stay. Nothing fancy but a great historic getaway for the price.

Only stayed one night. Sheets were very wrinkled and poorly cleaned. Pillow cases had holes in them. Breakfast was all gone before we could get any. Very old building that has been poorly attempted to renovate
