Aside from the power going out for 5 or 6 hours, and it raining 24/7 during our stay, the stay at the New Haven was great, but booking the room was not so great. When I booked, the listing on Expedia said 'reserve now, pay later', exact words. Then, when you get to the pay page to input credit cards, it again says, 'reserve now, pay later. We only need your payment details to secure your reservation. You'll pay for your room at the property.' This is misleading, as I was charged for the room the very next day after booking it. I never had to confirm any payment information when I arrived at the New Haven.

Nice boutique hotel. Situated at the end of the main road, quiet, clean and very spacious. We opted for the room with the firepit and enjoyed some drinks in front of the fire pit.

I had a bit of a mixed experience during my stay. The bed was unfortunately way too soft for me, which led to some back pain the next morning. I also noticed the synthetic sheets created static sparks in the dark! Another small downside was the lack of storage—there wasn't a closet or even hangers for my clothes. Plus, since the room was near a main road, the traffic noise was pretty noticeable. It’s a decent spot, but these few things made it a little hard to get a good night's rest.

We had the most amazing stay here. The room was very clean and super aesthetic. We enjoyed the best the most, we couldn’t believe how comfortable it was and for that alone, we would come back. The grounds are really cute and super quaint. The only con for our visit was the noise above us on the second flood, but we understand that is no one’s fault and just part of a 2 story hotel. Overall, we had a wonderful day and cannot wait to be back!

The AC/Heating unit was not working properly. When set at 66 it went up to 73 and stayed that way for hours. I tried to go to cool set at 64 and it still continued to heat up to 70. This kept us from two good nights sleep.

Pretty disappointing given the price range, car charger didn’t work, I requested a room with a working fire pit and asked it could be tested before arrival to ensure it worked, we got there, tried it at night time and the flame was barely an inch high. Terrible waste of money paying for fire pit room. Someone who stayed here before us or housekeeping left the ground floor window open and we didn’t notice it until the next morning because the blinds were closed. This was not safe. Hotel is bare bones with no staff on property when we needed anything we were out of luck. No toothbrushes if you forgot a toothbrush
