Great stay in San Simeon, staff was friendly, room was clean, pool and hot tub area were nice. Stayed here to tour Hearst Castle and was only a 5 minute drive up the road. Will stay here again.

I love this place an stay here all the time for the past 10 yrs . This time for the first time they asked for a 100 fee extra that they said they will refund after check out. Its been 3 days an I have not gotten it back. I stayed here 2 months ago and was not charged any extra fee so idk if this is new or whatever but its pretty inconvenient considering it was also mothers day weekend and I wasnt planning for extra fees .

A Hidden Gem

Did a two day road trip with my fur babies while the wife was in Europe. This place is amazing!! Had an issue with my tv signal upon arrival and the problem was solved right away. The husband and wife team who run the hotel gave me top notch customer service. My room was clean and comfortable with a yard for my babies right outside my door. Will be back soon!

Amazing location and good bang for buck

This place is clean and comfy. Bed is slightly noisy but was comfy. Service is what you’d expect in a small town. Lots to offer here. Would recommend and will stay at again. Has laundry.

Good for the price and location

This motel suited our needs and desires for being on a tighter budget! No frills older property but we had a very comfortable bed, a little fireplace and a view of the ocean! The room did smell like dog and we asked for some air freshener but never got any. Check in staff was very friendly.

I liked the location for proximity to Hearst Castle and beautiful beaches. The front desk woman was extremely kind and accommodating. The rooms open up to a nice grassy area. The room itself was a tad dingy and didn't seem super clean. Fine for the price though.

Floor was dirty ,top of heater ,base boards ,and behind bed had dirty towels trash in all bushes pool had dirt and a little slimy on one side hot tub was over chlorined bed made a lot of metal noise and would move if you sit down to hard microwave didn’t work also had old food inside! Hung up maid service card came back had one towel and wash rag left felt like no one cared center yard grass was wild and dog poop every were fountain was running out of water and this place received good reviews? I can see it is a cheap place for. Construction workers and people needing to sleep and leave. The listing is all wrong

Last minute trip

Stayed here with my teen daughter, very last minute. After a long drive it was so great to get to a clean and comfortable room. The beds were cozy and the staff was friendly. Not a bunch of frills. Just clean and comfortable. We'll stay again.

My mom and I stayed here for one night during our trip along the coast. The outside appears as a typical motel, but inside, the rooms are hotel quality! Would highly recommended staying here. Very modern, clean, and safe. Balconies on each room look out into a private courtyard which would be great for kids. Across from the beach, about a 10 min walk down, so if your room is closer to the front , you can hear the waves at night. Fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, all in working order. Thanks for a great stay!
