There was long black hair on the shower walls when first got to the room. Maids again missed it cleaning the room the next day so had to track them down in the afternoon. Calling this a resort and charging a resort fee is a joke. It’s a motel at best.

Room was clean and spacious. Pool and hot tub were nice . Definitely positive overall. Only negatives were other pool closed for maintenance and parking fee higher than resort fee!

There is no direct public access to a beach at this hotel. There is a bay view, and a marina. Large rocks form a wall so there is no beach access. The main swimming pool was closed for refurbishment (not advertised ahead of booking - nor on the hotel website). There was a Tropical Pool open at the other end of the property, not convenient for Bay View or Park View guests. The only restaurant, The Firefly has newly added a 5% surcharge to help accommodate the kitchen staff - as stated on the menu, it covers the increase in minimum wage hourly rate. I am shocked that the hotel is putting the kitchen staff wages onto the guests to pay, in addition to other taxes, fees and of course the waiting staff tip.

There is a $35 per night fee for parking which was not seen on the website I think it is ridiclous to have to pay so much for parking. Aside from that the grounds are nice, room was a good size and the hotel is in a good location. We did not eat breakfadt there.
