This is our home away from home. We’ve been staying a for about 15 years and it never lets us down! Close to everything! Pacific Beach is walkable, lots of restaurants walking distance, quiet, feel safe, mission beach is in front, great amenities. SeaWorld is walkable, but they have a shuttle service which is great.

I'd stay again!

Other than not having an elevator to help with luggage, The Dana was a great hotel. The location was centralized, the beds were comfy, everything was clean, the landscaping was beautiful, family friendly with 'Dive In Movies' and the ability to watch Sea World's firework show across the bayeach night.

The staff and check in process was extremely rude and we arrived at 9pm and all the food options were closed and we had to order uber eats which took forever because the hotel isn’t located near anything. No one is available to help with luggage and so my husband and I had to juggle the luggage cart with our new born. When we asked the bar if we could get a drink they said no (at 9:30PM on a Saturday). In the morning the wait staff didn’t help us for over 30 min and we had a newborn and kept waiting for a server. The property is also very large and the front desk gave minimal directions on a map that was confusing to get to our room in the dark and it took us forever wandering the property to find our room. The Bay is gorgeous but we won’t be staying here again.

This hotel was perfectly located for all San Diego fun! We enjoyed the marina view, even if the motel room was smaller than expected. Close access to wonderful restaurants & target, sea world, downtown museums, etc. It was perfect! Tiny parking spaces though- but that seems to be common through all San Diego oddly enough! Overall, great motel! Our whole family LOVED the pool on site - so clean, beautiful, and easy room towel service

We have stayed at this hotel more than 5 times. The staff was not super friendly. They tried to charge us $50.00 to check in 1 hour early. We felt like the staff was a bit rude and after staying somewhere 5x nobody said Thank you for returning, no appreciation at all for a returning guest.

Good home base for a visit to San Diego. The pools were fun for our young one. The pool water was pleasantly warm. The restaurant is convenient as there isn't much to walk to outside of the resort.

I was able to check in 3hrs early and I was given access to the pool while I waited for my room. And they offer to hold your luggage for you as you explore the propery before the room was ready. The bed was very comfortable and love being able to use the pool and spa as between 8am to 10pm. The nachos that I ordered were ok.
