We really liked this hotel, it had great views of the bay from our room which we enjoyed in the evenings. We did get woken up in the middle of the night by a group of kids being really loud outside our room. However, overall, great stay and experience.

This is our home away from home. We’ve been staying a for about 15 years and it never lets us down! Close to everything! Pacific Beach is walkable, lots of restaurants walking distance, quiet, feel safe, mission beach is in front, great amenities. SeaWorld is walkable, but they have a shuttle service which is great.

Was not expecting it to be so nice due to it being 3 stars but it was great for the kids, no valet, no room service, but door dash is great, and kiddos were in the pool all day

I'd stay again!

Other than not having an elevator to help with luggage, The Dana was a great hotel. The location was centralized, the beds were comfy, everything was clean, the landscaping was beautiful, family friendly with 'Dive In Movies' and the ability to watch Sea World's firework show across the bayeach night.

The staff and check in process was extremely rude and we arrived at 9pm and all the food options were closed and we had to order uber eats which took forever because the hotel isn’t located near anything. No one is available to help with luggage and so my husband and I had to juggle the luggage cart with our new born. When we asked the bar if we could get a drink they said no (at 9:30PM on a Saturday). In the morning the wait staff didn’t help us for over 30 min and we had a newborn and kept waiting for a server. The property is also very large and the front desk gave minimal directions on a map that was confusing to get to our room in the dark and it took us forever wandering the property to find our room. The Bay is gorgeous but we won’t be staying here again.
