I booked a room in October 2025 for a 4 night stay in early December 2025. In the afternoon of my arrival while I was in transit they informed me that that they could no longer honor my booking. They would not give me a reason and i had to enlist Expedia to get the answer from the Company "Grand Pacific Resorts" who manage the property and confirmed to Expedia they had double booked. While in I was travelling to the Hotel and they were informing me they could not honor the booking they offered me a room at their other property San Clemente Inn claiming it was like for like as good and beautiful . IT ABSOLUTLEY NOT. It was a motel type of establishment which sits right on the I5 freeway (not on the beach like San Clemente Cove!) There own cancellation policy says that if i had cancelled in less than 48 hours I would forfeit the total cost of the booking. Initially they only offered me $135 dollars. and it was only after many calls and complains that they refunded 95% of my cost. This review bears no reflection on the staff who were working at San Clemente Cove who were very sympathetic, but is directed at the poor experience from the Management company Grand Pacific Resorts.

We Loved it so much, the location is top notch with an incredible beach front view, walk able to the beach and pier, food cofre and even has the trolley stop right in front. the room was very spacious and we look forward to coming back with our girls. Birthday Getaway

Great two night stay to celebrate my birthday with my family. My kids and I enjoyed the on site craft (for a small fee) with Kim.There was construction during our stay but that was communicated ahead of our stay so we were aware. Overall, very satisfied with our stay and can't wait to return.
