I booked mostly on the basis of Expedia reviews, mostly four or five stars, (it is also one of the higher priced lodgings in the Santa Rosa area). The ground floor areas certainly have a luxurious look and feel to them, but otherwise nagging flaws crop up. I'll list them: 1) Check in doesn't begin before 4 p.m. Show up then and you'll stand in line with your luggage, assuming you were able to find a space in a crowded parking lot. 2) The sofa in our king size room had the surface peeling off and the carpet seemed very well worn. 3) The bathroom had a huge tub but the shower stall is pinched for room and if you accidentally lean on the glass door you'll pitch out onto the bathroom floor (I didn't.) 4) Wanting to check out early we found that breakfast (good but nothing special) only starts at 7a.m on Sunday, and then was fifteen minutes late. There's nothing really bad to say about Oxford Suites but not much really good either, it's a sold three-star but no more. I will say for it that the elevators are silent and the room climate controls excellent.

We prefer staying here when we can’t get a room at Graton Resort and Casino. We love that there’s a complimentary evening reception (wine, beer or cocktail plus snack) and there’s a shuttle going to and from casino.
