It’s beautiful here! Although there isn’t much to do in the winter due to snow, the room is so cozy and beautiful. The room came with a fireplace and the views were nice. It was a good escape from reality. The staff is very quiet. You can’t call directly, but they do text and txt back fast.
Room and grounds were beautiful, staff was wonderful, and to top it off we woke up to a white Christmas

Liked: Cleanliness, room comfort
It was a one night trip with my furbaby. The hotel is very dog friendly and welcoming to pets. That was good. The beds were comfy. The layout was non functional. A small sitting area upstairs and the bedroom downstairs was very small. The balcony overlooked the brewery and I had requested a quiet room... Not sure if the check in guest just ignored my request or what but when I returned to ask for a quieter room, she said it would cost 45.00 more and that she didn't have any authority to make an exception. Big turn off since I was there off season and the place was empty. I doubt I will return. There are better places.
Perfect place to stay front desk office lady was really nice

Watch out for their illegal hidden fees! Upon checking in a few weeks back I asked to see the lodge's invoice and was shocked to see the amount didn't match Expedia's quote, which clearly emphasized "All taxes and fees included in total. What you see is what you pay.". The receptionist said this was due to a hidden fee, but no big deal because they do it all the time! So I asked to speak with the manager, who turned out to be a 20-something woman with green hair and an attitude to match. She said if we don't like it we can just leave. But it being late in the day, and in a remote area, this wasn't a viable option. So we accepted, but with a bad taste in our mouths! Upon checking out I informed the lodge that I'd be filing a complaint with our credit card company. Then a few hours later, surprise! Apparently they became worried, and credited our account $100 for the "mix-up". But it sure did not look like a mix-up to us. So be careful! The law forbidding this practice is California SB 478 "Hidden Fee Statute".
Easy to find off the highway. Check in was super easy, friendly staff. Rooms are oddly setup so do your research ( I initially booked a room with bathroom upstairs and bedroom downstairs) not safe so we got both on same floor. Later we got a bottle of wine (bring your own we didn’t and it was pricey). When we inquired about the fireplace they gave us paper and a match log. We then discovered there was no lighter. The two girls at the desk kept disappearing in the back and we were super frustrated by now. Finally got the fire. Also the “lounge” closes at 8 apparently for a Friday night, weird. Lastly the bed was super low to the ground, who does that! All in all ok, nothing spectacular.
Rooms are of a modern Swiss chalet sort. On property there is a tap house that has nothing but really good beer from California, Oregon, Pennsylvania micro breweries. There are some quality goods for sale in the lobby, including wines by the bottle.
Our room was clean and comfortable but fairly compact. Location and grounds are great with nice pool and amenities (like a small pitch-and-putt golf course on site).
There are no restaurant facilities on site but there is a small Starbucks operation in the hotel lobby.
