On numerous check-ins, I was forced to use the exterior window, in spite of the tremendous amount of traffic noise. Normal business hours are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. So my numerous 8:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. Check-ins, by my request, should have been allowed in the Lobby.

Wouldn’t recommend to stay here

This hotel/motel charged me for the 1st night rate the day we checked in & when I got there at 3pm for check-in they requested that I pay the full total amount in addition to the 1st night rate they already charged me plus their “accommodation fee”. All they required aside from the total rate for my stay was the accommodation fee which one time charge for the accommodation, so they tried to get additional $$ from me. I complained right then & there, (I’m sure most people don’t notice that they do this) & they said they could void the first night’s rate & just charge me for my original total for my entire stay plus the “accommodation fee” (that I had originally set aside the money for) but they couldn’t guarantee that the void would be back on my account right then & there, so I had to move money that I had in my savings account for Disneyland for my kids to make up the difference. I ended up getting my $$ back for extra charge the following day. But when I was given the hotel key the woman told me for future reference that most hotels do what they tried to pull on me…I just smiled knowing that most hotels DONT do what they just did. I told them that we will NEVER be staying there again. As I walked out they sarcastically said “sorry for the inconvenience”. Oh!, also, the refrigerator in the room that didn’t work, was plugged in but not cold inside & no dial to turn it on/off. Also the room wasn’t thoroughly cleaned either. Would not recommend to stay here.

Disappointing check-in

The room was clean and decent. The check-in process did not let me feel welcome at all. I was not let in the reception area and did both the check-in and check-out from the little window giving out to the parking lot. That was a no-no for me.

Rated higher than it should be

Should be rated more like 6.4 to 6.5. When first arrived, took a pee and noticed toilet wouldn’t flush anything down. It was too late of a check in to change rooms. They knew toilet was broken, by the fact they have a toilet plunger next to toilet. No hand towels, just shower & wash cloth towels. Dirty sheets. Not very clean. Closer to run down Motel 6.

A very nice Husband & Wife team run this place well. They appear to take pride in the property, the rooms & the service they provide. I work nights, & was able to sleep relatively soundly during the day. My room was clean, orderly & well provisioned. The King Sized Bed, was comfortable. I now see why these folks are rated highly on Expedia. Thank you folks for the excellent Customer Service, you provided to a travel weary & sleepless patron!

The owners worked with on their deposit, because people have tendency to miss a room up, they helped me with situation, I have to live hotel to hotel till I get back the money I'm owed from my employer, besides that they told me I was a nice person I try to treat those with care, and I got that back at castaway, thank you castaway, I recommend the stay nothing is perfect, you have to make it that way, caring and sharing

I went on Expedia ordered the room and was going to get the same room the next day and your website Expedia said there was four left and me and my son were told we had to get out and pay an extra $180 to stay in a different room and we had to go sit at McDonald's for almost 4 hours and this is 4 days after my mom passed away so they basically bait and switched me and the room they gave me for more money didn't have a kitchenette in it like the first one but this seems to keep happening and nothing's ever done about it so not real pleased to say the least
