Noisy restaurant nearby

There is a restaurant next to the hotel. It played very loud music and even a live band at night. Very very loud! The front desk was able to switch a room for me, but in general, the hotel is old, location is not convenient neither.

I was very disappointed I had booked the wrong Best Western Marina Hotel. National City instead of Shelter Island. Unfortunately, Hotel.com does not allow rebooking without losing prepaid deposit. Very disappointed. On the second night outside the bedroom window there were 8 police cars with dogs apprehending a criminal.

The property served our family well. It was well lit, hallway and amenities looked well kept and did not have a smell to them. My only draw back was the shower. There are some areas that require some love and maintenance- like their caulking. Quite a bit of rust and mold in certain areas. Also, getting a shower curtain that fits, may help with the mold and rusting issue.

The hotel was nice and clean. The bed wasn’t so comfortable but that’s a personal preference. The property has beautiful landscaping and the location is ideal being next to the freeway. I do not recommend the restaurant next door the food is mediocre and overpriced. Over all a good experience and I wld stay again.

Overpriced, pretty average. Not sure why there's so many good reviews. Uncomfortable pillows, clogging tub drain, squeaky loud bathroom door, no continental breakfast. Restaurant next door is loud and fills up the parking lot.
