Great location - older property but I have stayed there before so knew what to expect. Food has gotten pretty pricey in the dining room. Lots of lessons learned for our next trip. Overall good value.

I really enjoyed having the fireplace. The drape was partly falling. Needs electronic charging outlets. Having a phone in the room helps if I needed to call 911. Would have been nice to have a TV.

The hotel room has the most minimal amenities; bed, toilet and shower. There is no TV, no fridge, no safe box, no microwave and no coffee maker. Although I loved the rustic vibe, I’d still appreciate to keep my drinks cold. Unfortunately we will not be staying here again. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for an actual hotel room. Aside from that, the staff was amazing, the check in process was quick and the lobby was really nice. Also, the accessibility to the beach was great as well.

The property wasteally nic. It wasquiet witha beautiful view and close easy access to the beach. The only thing is that the heater/air conditioner was not working becauseit was broken. It was super hot and it was no way to regulated, it was too hot and hard to sleep at night. Overall it was a nice staying at this beautiful property.

I felt the hotel was really outdated and smelled like mildew. Pillows were rockhard.. our rooms were across the street away from everyone. Not a lot of lightning outside really dark and the hallways inside were also really dark.

The room we received was the dirtiest hotel room I've stayed it. It reeked of mildew and the bathroom has mold all over the shower. The pillows are toddler size and everything about the room and the building in general signal that this place has not been updated in year, and is not maintained. Notice that the 10 star reviews are all the same. Go to yelp to see the honest reviews and photos. The walls are very thin so the party in the room next door was extremely loud. We tried to contact the front desk, but apparently it's not staffed at night and you have to leave a voice mail. The trails to the beach are nice, but you can access them, and parking, without staying at this dump.

The location was beautiful, quiet and peaceful, the beach is about 8 min away, walking, and the walk to the beach is very nice and safe, many deer encouters. Room doesn't have TV, it was okay since we didn't spend to much time in the room, but it would have been nice if it had a mini fridge, specially if you have a little one that drinks baby bottles of milk. Room could be better maintained, there was spiderwebs on the ceiling and I got bit by a spider while in bed, the carpet was coming off on the division with the bathroom floor and staples where uncovered.

Overpriced for the quality. We enjoyed the beautiful architectural design of Julia Morgan. But the property is not well maintained, and it hasn’t been updated inside the rooms. Our room has icky water leak marks at the ceiling and peeling wallpaper. The price is too high for a simple room with no television, coffee maker, microwave, or fridge.

They assigned me with a room very far from the parking lot K . Not safe walking on the road trying to reach out the room. They switched 3 times my assignments room. It's was a horrible experience because my husband has a problem with knees. So it's took an hour to settle down and get a decent room.
