Every staff member we came in contact with was so friendly, professional and accomodating, The suite was lovely, the pool deck was such a treat and the location can’t be beat. We even got a little cupcake sent to us for our anniversary. Can’t wait to go again.

Our room was on a construction site area next door so we had a lot of noise from 7.30am on Monday morning. Was unfortunately caught in a lift in check out that the doors closed and the lift wouldn't move and the doors wouldn't open. Finally we got it to go to the spa level and it stopped and opened so we got off it and told staff and they took photos and called an engineer. It was long enough to make me anxious but we were all good in the end

All of the staff were excellent. We paid a pretty high number for our room with a balcony but it was very dated, the curtains didn't close all the way, the carpet was kind of dirty, it was just old and dated but everyone there was very nice. I didn't complain as we were staying just one night and then getting on a ship. Peter at the concierge was very helpful with letting us know there was an adapter in the room and getting us a couple more as we had traveled 15 hours on a plane to get there and we had to regroup and charge a few things. We did get the $35 breakfast credit as we ordered room service because jet lag was an issue at this point. Balcony was awesome. There were few cushions on the chairs but none on the chaise lounge or the couch. Like I said, the room was dated furniture was dated and worn that everyone there was very nice and helpful.

This property is tired and needs renovation. The rooms are outdated, closets broken, cracks in walls, mattress was stained, furniture is old and showing years of ware. I have stayed in Langham hotels in other parts of world which are in better shape than the Melbourne location.
