It’s a very basic hotel; quite run down. You feel that the room has been “ well used”. The linen and towels very clean , but it’s a 2 star hostel basically. Needs a serious makeover. Would be fine at $100 a night as a budget establishment but I had to pay $250 which is exorbitant for the type of accommodation. Certainly not a room you would want to spend any time in.

Have stayed here many times over the years when it was Formula 1 hotel. Budget hotel, basic set up with shower in the room, no separate bathroom. Unfortunately both lights over the bed did not work. One was missing a light switch & the other had z blown globe. I was paying over $180 a night & would expect everything to be in working order. Informed reception & a lamp was provided the next day. Handy location, very close to all transport, eating,.

The staff were very helpful & pleasant, however the photographs on Expedia did not portray the room properly. The room was very small, there was little space to open a case, and there was no proper bathroom. There was actually a shower cubicle built into the bedroom rather than into a bathroom. There was a wash basin, but again it was in the bedroom. Agreed it was advertised as a budget hotel, but this was not what we expected or what was portrayed in the advertisement. We expected better from Ibis.

Whilst the bed was comfortable and clean, the room is tiny and need to squish around end of bed to get out, bed too big for room. This property really needs a good overhaul. Great location, and price reasonably for the location, i can see why it was cheaper than the others. Luckily we were only there to sleep and shower, as the room was small and claustrophobic.
