This hotel is a Catfish. The pictures look nothing like the rooms. The rooms we had were unfinished on the sides and ceiling. There's industrial and then there's a parking garage. The beds were on floor not in a bed frame. The floors had stains. the furniture was chipped and damaged. We had a group of seven rooms. They were all the same. One person in our group had the shower handle fall off in his hand.

Not a fan of Los Angeles but I really liked this hotel. The room was set up differently than usual and had really high ceilings that weren’t finished but was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and nice. Their restaurant was closed on Monday but there was a great restaurant next door. Yummy. They offered bag check so I could walk around town before checking in.

Service was extremely unreliable at this hotel. First, on arrival, I went to the hotel bar in hopes of finding something to eat. I was told it was closed despite it being during their posted hours. Second, I had no hot water in my room. Someone came to service the room after 10 p.m., when I was already in bed. It then took two more days for someone to come address the problem. I was told that I simply had to keep the water running for 5-10 minutes for it to warm up, which is ridiculous and wasteful. This is clearly a larger issue. When the water finally did warm up, it was only tepid. Finally, the coffee shop seemed to be unattended when I went around 7 a.m. The reviews from this hotel seem artificially inflated by its excellent reputation under a different brand, the Ace. Would not recommend despite the affordable price and beautiful views.

I booked a stay at this hotel, but as soon as I saw the room, I knew I couldn’t stay even for one night. The shower had no door, offering absolutely no privacy—an issue made even worse since I was traveling with my brother. It was incredibly awkward and completely unacceptable for a hotel room. On top of that, the service was terrible. The staff was rude and unhelpful, showing no interest in addressing concerns or offering any solutions. The lack of professionalism and hospitality was enough for me to cancel my stay immediately and they never refunded my money!! If you value privacy, good service, and a comfortable stay, avoid this place at all costs. I wish I had never booked it in the first place!
