We've been here a few time already and it has been our home away from home when we want to stay out in Los Angeles. We love all the amenities and convenient short walk to the grocery store and walk able to restaurants and attractions. Our suite however had minor details that isn't a big deal but I noticed. The bathroom drawer did slide out of it"s railing and I thought it was going to fall, the microwave door got stuck, there was no coffee for the coffee maker, but I called and it was brought up quickly, 3 forks, no cutting board and no bigger pan to cook on. Maybe the kitchen should also be equipped with scissors and a can opener? Again no big deal. We will always choose this location to stay but that was just minor details I noticed.

I chose Level because of our amazing experience in Seattle. Level Hotels provide comfort, amazing rooms and fun amenities. However, our stay in DTLA just did not live up. Layout of the room was great but the room smelled awful, like stale cigarettes. We had to ask for Level’s signature terry cloth robes and for towels. My biggest pet peeve is booking a room for 4 and not having enough towels 🙄. The room showed signs of wear that could easily be fixed by deep cleaning and touch ups. No ice in the freezer and the bottom of the dishwasher fell off. Service was friendly Pool was great and had other fun activities Location was good

Very nice property! I enjoyed the pool area, gym and the outdoor movie screening. This place was a convenient walk to certain shops and bars. The room was clean and modern.

This was my first time visiting LA, for me and my kids. This hotel superseded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and accommodable. My only regret is that we couldn't stay more than 3 days. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that will be staying in the surrounding LA area, but especially downtown. You won't regret it!

The most horrible experience I’ve had with this hotel out of all the hotels I visited in my life. The title says it’s four star is definitely misleading. I came in there and the whole place was a mess. There was dust everywhere human hair all over the floor no extra soap no towels. Electrical box was open and I had a toddler who was playing with it. Good thing I realized that it was broken and open before he got shocked. Every night it smells like marijuana heavily around the building. And when you step out of the building, you definitely do not feel safe. There was hair in the icebox. If you tried calling the front desk, nobody ever picks up the phone. I tried calling the minimum 4 to 5 times before realizing that it’s pointless. I don’t recommend anybody to go here based on my personal experience.
