Great interior updates, don’t let the retro facade fool you. Spacious bathroom, clean room, super helpful and welcoming staff. Amazing deal and conveniently close to SLT’s main drag without the crowds.

Property was not very clean. Room was busted. Busted up door frames and walls chipped up in the room. Everything is fairly worn and dirty. Bed was really comfortable. No food options. Coffee in the morning, but no tea. Exterior of the building needs some love, too.

The location of the hotel is convenient. Unfortunately, our room was not very clean. There was hair on the drain in the shower and on the tile floor. It is outdated. The sheets on the bed were stained. We called and they came and changed them right away. Overall we were very disappointed.

Good stay

The room is very spacious, and the bed is on the firm side which is exactly what we needed. Single pane windows mean some noise if your room is facing the street. The front desk staff is very helpful.

The bed was awful. The shower and bath were dirty. You had to hold the handle down for the toilet. The tv remote was difficult to use. The check in was really late. The price point was ridiculously high. No amenities.

I like that Postmarc is located at the center of South Lake Tahoe, walkable from lake, dining, drug store, to Heavenly Gondola, Harrah’s. What disappointed me was the cleanliness, on our 1st day the toilet got clogged, water from the toilet floor overflowed, poop on the toilet sit, yuck! We requested for room service and nobody came. We have to call the guy from the lobby, he put rugs on the floor and when we came back later in the afternoon it was still there, uncleaned! The other guy who helped us checked in had to clean it. If there was vacancy in other hotels, I would have cancelled! I should have asked for refund for the inconvenience!!!!

This place was a huge disappointment! It’s old, outdated and a bit run down. We were excited about having a jacuzzi tub in the room but ended up not using it as the condition of the room was such a turn off. So bummed that we spent the money on this room for our anniversary. While we were in the lobby we overheard a couple saying they couldn’t believe they paid $400 for such a dump to stay - we should’ve ran then! Unfortunately it was too late to get a refund. :-(

Updated bathroom was top notch, but updated/increased electrical outlets would have improved the stay. Complimentary bikes was a nice touch, but we didn't have a chance to try them out. Appreciated the free coffee and tea in the morning.

The location is great. You can walk to the doc to take a cruise or rent a boat, or visit the Riva grill. About a mile from stateline if you're a walker. I didn't find the front desk staff to be very welcoming. I'm used to a hello and a smile rather than a stern look and a 'can I help you.' rooms outdated but comfortable enough.
