We stay here every summer. Great spot next to the lake. Was not happy about valet parking only rule now. I like to keep stuff in my car and have access to it when I want. Our fridge went out in our room, lost about $100 for meats we brought and not once did the hotel offer to make that up to me. Door slammed shut with no stopper or latch and ac sounded like a jet engine. But it worked and kept the room cool. House keeping staff very friendly and always nice. Will be back but may consider else where so I can park and have my own car.

An enjoyable stay at the Hilton Vacation Club

The hotel is right on Lake Tahoe and has some outdoor entertainment space for guests to use such as tables and fire pits. There were also games and activities in the central area outdoors for families. We booked a studio room with 2 king beds. It was plenty spacious for our needs and comfortable, including the air quality which we were able to adjust to our needs. There were extra towels in the cabinet so we did not have to request any. I left my key in the room after we checked out and called the hotel. They located my key right away and made arrangements to return it promptly. Overall it was a memorable stay and I would return again, as well as recommend it to friends and family.

Nice place but a few extras would make it great.

Just an idea but add better lake access and a coffee bar. Good place in South Lake Tahoe to relax.

Great location — next to beach and restaurants, close to Stateline for additional activities. Property well maintained and clean. Parking is an issue—no self parking. Valet is $27/day in addition to the resort fee. Valet staff was great though.
