Great location…however, Room was too warm at night- hard to sleep and wouldn’t cool . Housekeeping didn’t come by at good times, we stayed 5 nights and only had our room cleaned once. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. The one time the room was cleaned the soap wasn’t refilled. Not sure that I would stay here again.

My husband and I came to South Lake Tahoe primarily to ski. We stayed 4 nights at Margaritaville Resort. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. It was very busy on weekend. There are too many kids staying here. We did not like the high resort and valet parking fees.

The property is convenient of skiing at Heavenly. The walk with equipment if very doable to the gondola, which means not needing to get the vehicle out and loaded, find parking and the reverse on the return. The property also offers amenities (spa, fitness, dining) that make it even possible to spend your day there and relax without stress.

On the first night, the heater iwas not working. I informed the front desk, and while maintenance came to fix it, the heater stopped working again at midnight. As a result, the room became very cold overnight, and we were unable to sleep properly, I had a cold. The next day, I requested maintenance again, but despite their efforts until around 3 PM, they were unable to resolve the issue. Eventually, I was asked to pack all my belongings and move to another room, which was inconvenient and disrupted my stay. I appreciate the staff’s efforts, but the situation caused significant discomfort. I would appreciate any consideration for compensation, such as a discount or other accommodation, for the inconvenience. Thank you for your time, and I look forward to your response. They have done a really nice with the old Embassy suites to convert to Margaritaville. Everything is very good including ski valet, etc. Breakfast buffet was good. Bartender in lobby was friendly. I didn't love the pool area. Felt too closed in and heavy chlorine smell. Rooms are large, modernized and clean.

The hotel is very nice, modern and clean. But the door @ the room are super heavy and make a lot of noise at night. Hard to sleep. You can hear the door from the rooms on the side too. Thanks!!!!
