We were highly impressed with the front desk staff of the hotel. They were polite, professional and helping all the time whenever we needed them. They allow us to check-in early without any extra fees. The room was also in good condition and location was very good close to many restaurants and stores. Would stay again in future!

The front desk staff let us check in early without any additional fees. The room was spotless and amenities were great. We loved the peaceful atmosphere of the property specially at night. We had a very relaxed stay and would be staying again in future.

If you are looking for a comfortable spot with real Tahoe character and good vibes, Hotel Elevation is a solid choice. I would definitely stay here again and also highly recommend to others.

It could use some refresh (mostly just paint) but the price was great and so was the staff. They have better amenities than some of the big casinos I've stayed at! Including a nice size tv, microwave, fridge, coffee set up. I would stay again

Hotel Elevation is a charming and comfortable stay in South Lake Tahoe. The rooms are clean and cozy, the staff is welcoming, and the location is perfect for exploring the area. An excellent choice for a relaxing getaway.

The 2 attendants at check-in were rushed, and not helpful. It was busy, and there was a line. I politely asked if we could have a room on the ground floor, to which he said the room type we requested only were available on the second floor, and additionally he said "you can also have no extra towels, no extra soap, no extra nothing". He was obviously excerbated. We get to the room to find only two towels. The room was for 4 people, and that's what was said on our reservation. There was also only a bottom sheet on one of the beds, not a top sheet. The other bed only had sheets, and not a blanket. When we went to the office to inquire, the attendant said that all the housekeepers have gone home and they "can't fix anything until 7:30 in the morning". So we had to make due in a snowstorm. We left the next morning, and as I walked by rooms on the ground floor, I did find rooms with the room type I requested there. We didn't need to be on the second floor, which would accommodate us and our needs much better. Additionally, the room had peeling paint and mildew in the shower. The room was not clean. When we went to check out, 15 mins before check out time at 10;45 am, the office door was locked with a sign on it that said to call a phone number for any assistance. They were completely unavailable to help at the time of check out. Beware of this property. You will be better of staying elsewhere.

From the moment we arrived, the cozy mountain atmosphere made us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a relaxing stay. I loved that the hotel is so close to the lake, and local dining. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, going out of their way to make our visit seamless. Definitely a place I’d return to.
