We have stayed at the phoenician three times before. We were in the same apartment in 2023 and thought it needed some renovation. Back in the same room this stay and the condition of the apartment has deteriorated even more. The cleanness wasn't up to it either. I wonder if this apartment was allocated to us because it booked through a deal but if I booked it myself direct I would have not been happy. Disappointed with this stay. Great location and facilities but rooms really should be upkept.

Very friendly staff, safe and secure especially after hours. The apartment was clean and well fitted out with excellent air-conditioning and plenty of room on the balcony. We were within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants a supermarket and the beach. A 2 minute walk to the tram and 600m from the Casino.

Great place to stay, central to everything.

PROS Staff are super friendly and helpful. Central to Oasis shopping centre, including Woolworths, boutiques, gym,chemists, bakery, hairdresser,etc Restaurants and Main Street are underneath the apartments on ground floor. Great swimming pool, indoor and out, indoor large spa. Tramstop 5 min walk. Rooms vary (as all individually furnished), but plenty of room in 1 bed apartment. Free basement parking. Easy walk to casino. CONS Not all have king bed, some have queen. Loud noisy cars seem to cruise around the block, which are really loud. Noise and music/singing from restaurants at night, but usually goes quiet about 10. Depending on which apartment you’re in, there is a construction site in a nearby street that starts early and at the moment are excavating, so dump trucks use the road.

Reception staff Julie on check in was wonderful and very welcoming and helpful with directions as very large property! Lady on checkout was really nice too! Didn’t catch her name. Loved the area and atmosphere! Highly recommend this property.

Great value for money

Very good value for money spacious 1 bedroom apartment with everything you need and great views. Very nice location close to the beach, public transport, shops, resteraunts etc. All staff very friendly and helpful. (Diana was a legend!) Too busy to use any of the facilities but the pool looks nice!

The receptionist was so lovely and welcoming, she has been there for 14 years I believe and she was just such a pleasure to deal with. The property was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. It’s quite outdated but to be fair, I think it added character to the building and I still really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back!!

Had a great stay. Apartments are very well positioned in the heart of Broadbeach however it lacks sound proofing so extremely noisy at night. The main bedroom window was unable to be closed so noise was heard all night. Rubbish trucks and builders start at 5:30am so don’t expect a sleep in. Accommodation is a generous size and very clean. It is a little dated and could do with some upgrades but comfortable and lacks nothing in facilities or location to Broadbeach.

We loved the location, very close to lots of restaurants and major shopping centre. The pools, spa and sauna were clean. Our furniture was old, worn and dirty. The shower screen was broken and the aircon leaked water.

The property was in a fantastic location walking distance to local shopping areas, restaurants and the beach. What wasn’t so great was that it was very ran down towel rails falling off. Unpainted walls where they had been patched up in rooms. For the price this was disappointing. But otherwise staff were lovely and very friendly
