Charming craftsman home on 1.1 acres close to town and beautiful beaches

This is a 20 year old custom built home that has the homey architectural feel of the Craftsman style. There are brand-new wood tile floors throughout the main living area and brand new carpet in all bedrooms and upstairs. The two bedrooms upstairs have beautifully lofted ceilings for an open feel. There are plenty of windows so it is light and airy inside.
Our home is located about 1 mile southeast of the Hwy 1 and Hwy 20 intersection. This location makes it easy to drive to Ft. Bragg for shopping, beaches and activities if you head north and to Casper, Cabrillo lighthouse and the Village of Mendocino if you turn south.
The house has a spacious kitchen and nice open floor plan with a large private patio and BBQ. The patio has plenty of outdoor seating and a table for outdoor dining. The backyard is great for exploring!! The front porch has seating also and is a great place to catch the morning sun.
The bedrooms and bathrooms have quality bedding, comforters and towels. We can handle 2-4 more quests ( prefer them to be children) than the 3 beds accommodate - on air mattresses. You must supply the air mattress although there are extra linens for your use (Queen and Twin). Our garage is a private space and is unavailable for use. Home has washer/ dryer and dishwasher. TV/DVD/VCR available, WiFi and a Radio and CD player.Pets are welcome but with consideration of not pet guests we ask that pets stay off of furniture and beds
The property is 1.1 acres and fenced (although not to keep a pet in line) It is large and flat with seasonal lawn on 2 sides and a natural area in the back - great for kids to run around.
Unfortunately our fireplace is not working at this time
The two upstairs bathrooms have large soak tubs.
Please be aware that next door to us is a home based business that makes crab pots and fishing nets. It is not a noisy business but there is a bit of auto traffic going to their property

Charming Craftsman

Our host Mara was amazing. We all loved this house. It was clear that the host cared for and wanted our stay to be meaningful, clean beautiful home well thought out spaces very inviting and comfortable.It’s the small things that truly make a difference and she nailed it and it was greatly appreciated. House is perfect for family friend couples to enjoy and perfect location to enjoy things in Fort Bragg or Mendocino. They was a book on the table that offered ideas for the area, the Wi-Fi worked great. We didn’t watch TV because the place had several spaces to gather and visit that made the time spent there meaningful. We would highly recommend this beautiful home.

Warm and Cozy House

My daughter was getting married in Fort Bragg at another location, and this was a perfect house for myself, Husband, daughter, and her family to escape to for sleep, nourishment, and to get away from the chaos. The house was clean, comfortable and very cozy. Maria was very kind and allowed us to check in early so we can freshen up for a pre wedding event. I would win 100% stay at this property again.

Wonderful getaway with all the comforts of home

We spent 3 nights at this peaceful oasis just minutes from the botanical gardens and multiple beaches. All 4 generations enjoyed ourselves immensely! It was a mini family reunion to be remembered and this home was perfect. The beds were comfy and there was plenty of room for everybody to relax and rejuvenate. We highly recommend this property for families with children and even the elderly. My 83 year old mom had a blast and enjoyed the downstairs bedroom and bathroom.

We love staying at this house! We have stayed here several years with our growing family and what sets this home apart from other homes is the large yard and back patio. Wonderful stay

We stayed here for a few nights (parents, grandparents, kids and dogs). The home was super clean and comfortable. There were even toys for the kids which was super convenient. The host was super responsive and kind. We have been coming to fort Bragg since we were kids and it was awesome to come with our parents and our kids and keep the tradition alive. It was a perfect weekend, thank you!

Wonderful Property in Fort Bragg

We had family celebrating my Mother's 95th bday! This was a perfect house for us...Mom in a downstairs room, and the rest upstairs. Very clean, well stocked and beautifully decorated. Large patio and backyard too! We would return when we have another event on the coast.

Family get away

Went for my daughter’s 19th birthday and also happened to be my youngest granddaughter’s first time to the ocean. Mara was wonderful! The house was stocked better than any home we have visited. Great location and close to great beaches and restaurants. We will be back!

Lovely Property

Three couples, all senior citizens, came to enjoy the area and visit family. It is the perfect location, private, roomy , lovely outdoor area. The home is well appointed with all the kitchen and bath items, laundry room and parking.

Mara has a beautiful place with a well equipped kitchen and a big backyard. The house is very close to the main street in Fort Bragg and yet it is peaceful and very serene. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to future travelers

Family Get Together

This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed here and it’s a beautiful home. Love the floor plan, lots of room for our family of 9. The home sits on a large lot with plenty of room to play games outdoor s. The back patio has a fire pit and outdoor table and chairs to enjoy the outdoors. Close to the beach. Our family loved staying there.

Another Great Family trip!

This is our second stay here. The house is warm, cozy, nicely decorated and really comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, baking pans, and tools for all our cooking and baking. The kids loved playing on the porch too. There is also a large yard and back patio. The location is perfect. Just a short drive to town for coffee or to a beach. Birthday Trip to Fort Bragg

We surprised my aunt with a birthday trip to Fort Bragg and this house was perfect! The location is amazing, and the house was clean, well stocked and very comfortable. There were only the 3 of us (my aunt, cousin and I) so there was more than enough room. While the house was close to everything we wanted to do, it felt like it was off the beaten path because the area was so quiet and beautiful. I would absolutely stay here again.
