We stayed at Blue Lake Casino & Hotel for our Redwood National park trip. It’s a lovely hotel. Room was very clean and had all the amenities you would need: cable tv, k-pod coffee machine, safe, iron/ironing board, mini fridge, etc. Shower was nice with no water issues. They have 3-4 dining options but we ate at Sushi Blue all three nights because it was awesome. We didn’t utilize the casino other than walking through it to get to dinner. They have entertainment as well: Edwin McCain was playing while we were there and Jon Lovitz is due to be there in November. Overall, a nice place. About 40 minutes south of the park but the drive along the coast is beautiful and the roads are in great condition. Highly recommend.

Decent stay

Large room that was very clean. Bathroom is large but shower is narrow. Our room was right by a main hallway and the walls are very thin so I was woken up by people leaving the casino.

The best place to stay for miles around is if you are visiting the Redwood National Forest. The room was renovated recently and exceeded our expectations. Not to mention that a real chef prepared our dinner! The front desk worker who checked us out was super friendly and told me about local American Indian culture!
