The Dana Marina hotel was very old and not very clean.

The staff and the service from the staff was top-notch. The rooms were outdated, not very clean. The plumbing is definitely outdated. The tub wouldn’t even drain. The facility itself on the inside is outdated.

Visiting family and getting away from the heat

We were in Dana Point visiting family for the weekend. The hotel was clean, nothing exceptional. We brought our dogs with us. There are several areas close where they can do their business. The restaurants adding the Inn are very expensive, more than the typical California restaurants.

Location was perfec. The hotel is ild and needs some serious upgrades. Our bathroom was breaking down and i didnt feel comfortable putting any weight on the sink. Cleaning personnel were very loud in the morning.

The customer service was excellent!!! The location was perfect. My only complaint is that the rooms are kinda run down. I saw a few cockroaches inside the property, we had an old stain on the bedsheets and stains on the carpet. The pool was great for the kids. I don’t know if I would stay there again just because it was kinda gross. But, there is no other property on the harbor!

We had a good stay overall. The sliding door to patio was broken and we could not sleep with open door to get fresh air. The curtains were also hanging bu a thread...... Was disappointed with the breakfast. Have stayed there before several times and had graleat breakfast with eggs and some kind of protein....... thus time around the only option was waffles, bagels, bread.......

Beautiful location, excellent service

Location is suburb for those who are planning to visit San Diego or the ferry to Catalina Island. The marina area is a must to visit; wonderful for runners or guests to walk in the park. Staff is very courteous and helpful with travel planning. Highly recommend for a visit to many beautiful communities along the Pacific Coast Hgy.
