I was deeply disappointed by my recent experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, we found the room to be unclean, which was already unsettling. The real shock came later that evening when we discovered rodent droppings on the bed. This was not only disgusting but also completely unacceptable from a health and safety standpoint. I chose not to stay and immediately canceled my reservation, as I no longer felt safe or comfortable on the premises. This hotel experience ruined my family trip to say the least. I strongly urge the hotel to address these cleanliness and sanitation issues for the safety of future guests.

Would’ve loved to have rated higher - the beds were uncomfortable and the shower was lukewarm temp at best. I think there was a recent renovation and it looks great but the shower leaked water all over the place and outside of the bathroom.

Descent hotel that has the potential to be great if attention to details were attended to. Need to provide more towels to each room and update there information about walking to the beach. You cannot walk to the beach easily; there is not a sidewalk the whole way.

Property was beautiful. Close to Carlsbad outlets that we were able to walk there. The beach is about a mile away. The bed was very firm that we didn’t sleep well. My husband and I both woke up with sore backs in the middle of the night. It needs a pillow top or something. Also the AC makes a pretty loud bang every time it shuts off. That was very annoying and makes it hard to sleep. I would recommend to anyone that likes a firm bed. We will not stay there again.

From the minute we got into the property I knew I had made a mistake. The gates were propped open, the smell was like a wet dog and musty. The room was barely tidied up. I figured I’d should just deal with it and get to sleep because we had a busy next day. We slept awful, the sheets felt like crumbs were in them, and the next morning I had a bite on my leg and my husband was covered in a head to toe rash. There were super sketchy people in the parking lot just sitting in cars. When we got back from legoland we saw what appeared to be people dealing in the parking lot. There were at least 10 cars with people just sitting in them, we went in our room in which the do not disturb sign was conveniently gone, and debated what to do. Next door a dog was barking and scratching at the connecting door and upstairs sounded like kids having a party. Ultimately we just packed our stuff and went to a different hotel. We would not recommend and would not go back. Does appear that they are trying to update it, but it’s going to take a lot.
